The lady who looked after the reception was very helpful. Service was excellent. Of course the accommodation is very small, but that was to be expected for the price point of the room in hong Kong. Overall for the budget conscious traveller, I found it a great option.

Great price for location and category.

It's a two-star hotel in Hong Kong, so don't expect much more than the basics. It's a collection of rooms in a residential area. But for the price, it's good in the category. Don't expect it to be a five-star hotel. Your expectation may be a bit high. I found the description to be accurate. It has a bed, small fridge, shower, toilet, TV, Air conditioning, tea kettle. There is room under the bed to store your luggage, but you'll need to place it on the bed to open it as the room is small. The bed in smallest room is big enough for one person. Two skinny people may be able to fit, but will be very cramped. The location is great. One-minute walk to Jordan MTR station to an unmarked exit from a shopping mall that connects to the station exit E. Plenty of restaurants and some grocery stores nearby. Airport express shuttle K1 is a short walk south of the location. Quick MTR ride to Central station. If doing laundry, you should allocate four hours for washing and drying a full load (4-5 days worth of clothes). The laundry room is not publicly accessible and you'll need to ask the owner to let you use it for a fee (50 HKD) For the price in crowded Hong Kong, it's a good location.

Clean, Quiet and Safe near Jordan

Rent-a-Room is a good choice for the budget minded traveler. The accommodations are extremely basic, but it is clean, safe and quiet. The person who checked me in was very nice and very helpful. The room was relatively large and had a refrigerator and good AC. The place is not like most budget hotels that are in high rises and you have to wait for the lift. It is in a garden environment and has a 24 hour watchman at the entrance. If you only need basic accommodations for a brief stay, this is a superior choice due to the size and comfort of the room, the security and how quiet it is. I have no problem recommending it as a good choice for the budget accommodation category.

Perfect location and grey little guest house

Room was a perfect base for my stay. Plenty of shops nearby, places to eat and the excellent train service. The room itself was plenty big enough and had all the facilities I needed. Free Wifi worked perfectly and no problems. Staff were very helpful and although you check out by 12 midday you can leave your bags in the reception area until you depart if you wish. I would come back here again.

Located near the Jordan MTR station Exit E. It may be a little difficult to find for the first time. Look for "Knight Garden" over the entrance off the street, then up a few steps, turn left and up the steps into the first building, reception at the top of the first flight on the left. Rooms are quite basic but things like hot water work. Staff is friendly.

Close to bus lines and subway. 2 minutes away. Safe hotel, clean and quiet. Better than most small hotels in Hong Kong. Window is a bonus. Internet didn't work for us for the three days.

Bring my 81 years old mother went to Lamma Island

Location is good, but not for old people and kids. Room is really too small,the double bed is only 4' not like normal 5',the 4' bed in other hotel is single bed. They change towel and even floor towel daily and mop the floor daily. For the price and the central area it's still OK for those young traveller who just need a place to rest and refresh themselves. Price all down after we were back to sin.

Fun stay! Great experience

There's alot of good food around the area especially on the other exit of the station. i have most of my breakfast at Mei Sun(?) Cafe. The staff there were very helpful and nice. The room size would be your typical hong kong room, it is a good experience. Comfortable bed and what you need is in the room. The lady will clean up the room daily and i really appreciate the effort she took. For those who are very particular about toilet, just so you know, the toilet is not very spacious (i am quite big) if you dont mind that, i would say go for it. We were lucky when the lady gave us a room with the heater so we can get our hot bath water immediately once we switched on the tap.

A smaller, yet quiet hotel in a good location

Stayed as a family of four while waiting for our connecting flight. This is one of the very small number of Hong Kong hotels in this area that provides rooms suitable for four while not charging an arm and a leg. It is located in one block from Jordan station. Yet not directly on Nathan or Jordan street, and in addition to that in a gated compound with 24x7 guard - very safe and quiet by Hong Kong standards.
