Honeymoon Villa Stay

We rented the Honeymoon Villa for our 43rd anniversary splurge. Right on the beach. Sand at my fingertips. I loved it. It was a dream come true. The villa itself tho, is dated and dark. It is a beautiful wooden interior, and that needs to be saved, but a few bright lamps would help. There is a loud, nighttime, beach side, bar in the evening. It's really fun!! 😀 The staff there are awesome. And always acknowledged us, thank you! Overall, I really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good. Nice buffet of Eastern and Western food. Good fresh veg and fruit.

The hotel is well located in need of a deep clean and a bit of modernization. There are other hotels within Walking radius that offer better quality at more affordable rates. The shower didnt work properly. Restaurant didnt have Buffet Breakfast the one Morning. The reception staff are amazing thanks Wood, but the restaurant staff needs more training. The food is reasonably priced compared to the restaurants next door and a few meters away.

The staff were very friendly and made us really welcome, the occupancy was low due to the current situation but they still made our stay great. The rooms are a bit dated but had everything we needed, the hotel facilities are good and the location couldn't be better.

Save yourself a disappointment, go elsewhere

This was a return visit to this hotel and the owners have decided to let standards slip so much that we shall not be returning to this hotel again. We complained on arrival and asked to see the manager only to be told he had left for the day. It transpired that the manager was the owner who lived in India and was actually living there at the time! Explains the current dip in standards.

Nice hotel on the beach

I enjoyed my stay at the Koh Change Resort. Pros: Check in was fast and efficient. The room said no window, but actually had a nice view. There was no hair dryer in the room but one was provided as soon as I requested it. Location was in the middle of the strip, so everything from spas to 7-elevens were within walking distance. Cons: The bed was rather firm. The shower was perfect for me, someone who is not very tall. All in all, it may not be a five star resort, but it fit the bill nicely as seaside accommodation.
