"We really enjoyed this hotel (1-night family stay). It's a 5-minute walk from the station (and therefore the starting point for all Kamakura's attractions) in a very quiet, semi-pedestrian street. The staff were very courteous, helpful and available, and there was even an employee perfectly fluent in English. The room (double with an extra bed) was large for a Japanese hotel. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The only downside was that the room was too hot for our taste and we didn't want to turn on the air-conditioning in the middle of winter, so we slept with the window open (but as everything was quiet, it didn't keep us awake). [We didn't try the breakfast or the bath]."
