Domstolat is a historic country house on the river Bobr in the picturesque village of Janowice Wielkie and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Giant Mountains.

Generous, stylish and practical. The country house has been renovated with love and offers space for up to 11 people. The rustic, comfortable rooms of the holiday home are spread over 3 floors.

The price includes: bed linen + 1 set of towels, WiFi, VAT and garage.

Only additional costs for cleaning and heating costs are estimated according to the respective consumption: hot water (including Shower) and central heating: according to consumption heating oil per liter € 1, -.

Firewood optional according to consumption: € 5, - per sack +/- 10 k

In the low season, the minimum rental period is 3 days
In high season (school holidays all over Germany) the minimum rental period is: 1 week
A holiday week in high season runs from Saturday (arrival after 3 p.m.) to Saturday.

Place Description: The fairytale environment of the village Janowice Wielkie offers numerous opportunities for hiking, cycling, horse riding and climbing.

A variety of beautiful hiking and cycling routes run in front of the house. Maps with bicycle and hiking trails are in the house.

Not far from the house are horse stables where riding lessons can be taken. The administrator can also connect you with professional climbing instructors, for example.

Nearby there are swimming pools and lakes. In Wojanow Castle you can go swimming in the indoor pool and make use of a rich wellness offer (sauna, whirlpool, massages, beauty treatments, fitness etc.).

The Hirschberg Valley: The Hirschberg Valley is known for its multitude of old castles, fortresses, monumental monasteries and health resorts. Here you can also get your money's worth at a low price.

Winter sports: attractive winter sports areas can be reached in just 10 minutes by car. In the Giant Mountains, a 30-minute drive away, there are numerous cross-country trails in winter, such as downhill slopes for skiers and snowboarders. The world-famous Sneska (Schneekoppe) is a fantastic destination.

Excellent place to stay to relax and enjoy the surrounding beautiful countryside.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Domstolat this past month. The house was nicely furnished with everything that we needed (and beds were comfortable as well!). The surroundings were perfect - we got to know the cows in the field next door, and the locals as we walked every morning to the village to get fresh bread and breakfast treats. And of course, Pawel, the caretaker, is a true hospitality ambassador. He was there quickly if there was a problem (which were very few) and helpful with information on what to see and do. If you want a country experience we recommend Domstolat. There is lots to see and do from walking, hiking, skiing in the winter, exploring castles and palaces, small towns with great restaurants .. and all of great value. Go and stay - you won't regret it ... we didn't!

Lovely, spacious vacation retreat
This is a gorgeous, luxurious vacation home, very tastefully furnished, with a large, beautiful garden plus additional inside playground-barn. Located in a nice village, not far (by foot, car or train) from many sights, hiking and cultural opportunities, including a wealth of great restaurants at reasonable pricing. Loved nearby river Bobr and bird watching! Local contact Pawel is super helpful and friendly. Overall, just lovely- we plan to come again!

Wundervoller Sommerurlaub
Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich etwas besonderes. Wir haben hier zwei Wochen verbracht und waren von den großen Räumlichkeiten und dem historischen Flair begeistert. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr idyllisch und ruhig und man erreicht schnell und gut viele Städte und touristische Ziele in der Umgebung. Der Kontakt mit Pawel, dem Hausverwalter war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Er hat uns gleich zu Anfang auf eine Tour durch den Ort mitgenommen und uns gezeigt, wo man einkaufen und gut essen kann. Vielen Dank!

schöner Aufenthalt trotz schlechtem Wetters
Wir haben unsere 4 Übernachtungen mit 7 Personen sehr genossen. Was für ein tolles altes Haus mit viel Platz in ruhiger und idyllischer Lage direkt am Fluss. Ein Haus wie Urlaub bei Pippi Langstrumpf!
Wir Waren als gesamte Familie, also Eltern, Kinder und Enkelkinder eine Woche über die Weihnachtstage im Haus. Das Weter war leider sehr entsprechend der Jahreszeit sehr mäßig. Aber kein Problem - das Haus ist überaus großzügig, stilvoll und praktische eingerichtet. Spiele machen, in der Scheune den kleinen Spileplatz nutzen, gemeinsam kochen und tafeln - wir hatten eine sehr schöne gemeinsame Zeit. Zu erwähnen ist auf jewden Fall auch noch der supergute Kontakt zum Vermieter und seinem hervorragenden Kümmerer vorort! Wir werden wieder kommen.

Ein wunderbares Haus an einem herrlichen Fleck
Domstolat A ist ein Ort, an den wir zurückkehren möchten. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Parkettböden, die großenRäume (die meisten lichtduchflutet), die Fenster, -das alles macht Freude und läd zum Verweilen ein. Im Garten kann man es auch gut aushalten: tagsüber auf einer Liege ein Buch lesen, abends am Feuer sitzen und/oder grillen. Unsere Kinder haben sehr gerne in der Spielescheune gespielt, fanden aber gleichzeitig auch in der Umgebung Vieles zu entdecken. Sehr empfehlenswert ist es neben Wanderungen in der Umgebung , Fahrrad zu fahren. Man kann wunderbar direkt vom Haus aus losfahren, auf einer wunderschönen Route den Bobr entlang, z.B. zum Schloss Lomnitz. Pawel, der Verwalter, spricht fließend deutsch und stand uns bei allen Fragen zur Verfügung. Am Anfang fuhr er uns durch den Ort und zeigte uns, wo wir Brötchen bekommen, Essen gehen können usw. last but not least: Niederschlesien ist einfach schön!

Wunderschönes altes Haus in wunderbarer Lage
Wir hatten eine herrliche Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Haus, in dem man die Geschichte der letzten hundert Jahre förmlich spüren konnte. Besonders gefallen hat den Kindern die Spielscheune mit der Tischtennisplatte und uns Erwachsenen der überaus bemühte und lustige Verwalter Pawel. Danke! Es war eine schöne Zeit bei Euch!

Wunderschönes Haus mit jeder Menge Platz
Wir waren zu 12 in Huubs Haus und wurden fürsorglich von Pawel, dem Hausverwalter, eingewiesen. Alles geht super korrekt zu, es gibt keine versteckten Kosten, Pawel klärt über alles sehr gut auf. Huub selbst war zufällig auch im Nachbarhaus und hat sich als sehr angenehmer Nachbar herausgestellt. :) Das Haus ist wunderschön, liegt an einem kleinen Bach, den man von jedem Schlafzimmer hört. Es gibt schöne Schlafzimmer, genügend Bäder und einen Ofen in der Küche.

Ein Haus mit Geschichte
Wir waren zu zweit unterwegs und hatten uns für „A“ entschieden, einmal wegen der kleineren Räume, die ja im Januar auch beheizt werden wollen, zum anderen erschien es uns irgendwie (noch) authentischer mit den alten Möbeln und den Kachelöfen. Schön, dass vieles Alte (Fliesen, Öfen, Holzdielen, Türen, die Doppelfenster) erhalten wurde, auch wenn der Zahn der Zeit schon etwas daran genagt hat. Aber das setzt doch mehr Phantasie frei als eine 08/15 Hotelzimmer. Und dann noch Fenstermäntelchen in der Küche, alles ein bißchen deja vu, wie früher. Wenn das Haus doch seine Geschichte erzählen könnte! Wir haben (wie auch zuhause) viel in der Küche gesessen: der Ofen ist eigentlich keine richtige Schönheit, aber wir haben ihn und die wohlige Wärme bei geringem Holzeinsatz schätzen gelernt. Domstolat „B“ mit seinen grosszügigen Räumen hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, zu zweit wäre man sich da wohl etwas verloren vorgekommen. Die Badezimmer sind dann Gott sei Dank nicht mehr authentisch und TOP modernisiert. Es war alles picco bello sauber, die Matratzen ok und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Garten, die Landschaft, der Bober, der munter dahinplätschert, der verschlafene Ort: alles schön. In der Brauerei gibt’s neue polnische Küche, leckeres Bier, netten Service mit lustigen Sprachschwierigkeiten. Und natürlich in der näheren Umgebung viel Geschichte: rings rum Schlösser und Burgen ohne Ende, Museen, schöne Altstädte, Kirchen. Also, bisher wegen Herrn Hupka, Frau Steinbach und der übrigen Unbelehrbaren immer abgelehnt nach Schlesien zu fahren- es war eine schöne Entdeckung. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Und: Last but not least- die Perle des Hauses: Pawel herzlichen Dank für seinen Einsatz und seine Hilfe (inclusive telefonischer Taxi und Restaurant Reservation) und die netten Gespräche (auf deutsch)!

Winterurlaub in Domstolat A
Wir verbrachten mit drei kleineren Kindern im Winter eine knappe Woche in Domstolat A. Das Haus mit großem Garten ist sehr ruhig an einem kleinen Fluss gelegen, an dem die Kinder gespielt haben. Auch eine Scheune mit allerhand Spielgerät lädt bei schlechtem Wetter zum Toben ein (Schaukel, Tischtennisplatte, Sandkasten, ...) Im Haus ist aber kaum Spielzeug für Kinder vorhanden. Eine geschmackvolle, bunt zusammengewürfelte, antike Einrichtung mit Kachelöfen (nur in der Küche beheizbar) verbreitet eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Haus ließ sich mit Zentralheizung gut beheizen und war angenehm sauber. Der Verwalter ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, immer erreichbar und spricht sehr gut deutsch. Uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Es war Mal wieder eine wunderschöne Woche in Polen in einem sehr schönen Ferienhaus
Wir waren mit 16 Personen eine Woche in Domstolat und es jeden Gefallen. Das Haus ist super und sehr für große Gruppe geeignet. Die Betreuung durch Pawel war wieder super. Was wir sehr empfehlen können ist die Stadtrundfahrt in Breslau mit mit deutscher Sprache in einem Elektroauto. Näher Info gibt's bei Pawel...Das Haus war wieder auch in einen sehr säubern Zustand, es haben sich alle Sehr Wohlgefühlt.

Super erholsamer Urlaub mit Kindern und Hund
Ein sehr uriges altes, aber renoviertes Haus mit super viel Platz. Die Bäder sind super und hier können wirklich große Familien oder befreundete Paare gut unterkommen. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. So viel Geschirr usw. wie ich es noch in keinem Ferienhaus erlebt habe. Mit dem Auto kann man schnell zum Einkaufen und auch zu vielen Ausflügen aufbrechen. Zu Fuss braucht man ca 25 Minuten bis man im Wald ist. Hier muss man nur auf den Verkehr achten! Der Garten ist nur teilweise umzäunt, über die Einfahrt könnten Hunde oder kleinere Kinder entwischen, wenn man nicht aufpasst. Der Garten selbst ist wunderschön und lässt sogar Platz zum Fussballspielen. Für Kinder ist hier jede Menge geboten. Auch ein Ausflug zur Schneekoppe ist von hier aus sehr gut machbar. Der Hausverwalter spricht sehr gut deutsch und ist sehr nett und bemüht bei allem zu helfen.
