Very friendly staff, the simplicity yet clean rooms. Only the Sunday night music that ends at 3a.m could not allow us to sleep unfortunately. But overall, great experience.

We went there for our honeymoon & wanted to get a taste of the area not a resort which we certainly got , the place was beautiful , beach huts weren’t just huts but more boutique style , right on the beach 10yds away…..we were met by Johnathan & he went through everything with us & was very hospitable ! As it was our honeymoon they did a special surprise in the room for us which was very special ! All the staff were amazing , food was amazing , the area was just picturesque ! The sea turquoise & we had lovely walks every morning up the beach which you could walk for miles , many restaurants for lunch or dinner , friendly people & locals…. The village which ran parallel to the beach has good restaurants , bars with live music , gift shops , supermarket with local foods & very safe too ! I can’t speak highly enough about the area but especially at the Red Monkey where we were treated by all the staff amazingly well , couldn’t do enough for us , they organised a special meal for us on the beach for our honeymoon which was amazing….on a Sunday we danced the night away with the owners & staff as they have live bands & a dj on Sunday evenings !! Highly recommended & we are defo going back , Thank you from Daryl & Adele x

Godt feriehotell
Bodde 7 dager på Red Monkey. Hadde rom i 2 etg med god stor altan utenfor rommet. Ikke AC men vifte klarte å holde temp nede, da Jambiani har masse vind, både dag og natt. Søndager er det musikkjam på hotellet, som var en flott opplevelse med artister både fra Zanzibar og fra Tanzania og Kenya. Livlig kveld for dei som liker musikk og dans. Mange reiser til Jozaniparken for å se Red Monkey apekatter, på hotellet er dei hagen og bokstaveleg talt på balkongen din. Hotellets to hunder hadde jobb med å jage dei vekk når apekattene vart for nærgående. Lite svømmebasseng og 8-9 solsenger var nok for dei som budde på hotellet. Negativt er at stranda nedenfor hotellet er full av løs tare, som du må gå over for å komme ut i sjøen. Ved fjøre sjø kan du gå 1 km utover før du når sjøen og stranda er kritthvit. Jambiani er et paradis for kiteing med all vinden og endeløse strender. Ligger litt i utkanten ca. 5km fra Jambiani sentrum. Mange TukTuk og biler kjører deg gjerne til Jambiani eller Paje for 1000-1500 shilling. Hotellet fiksa en lokaltur med guding med besøk på skoler og lokalmiljø i Jambiani (25 usd pr prs). Vel verdt prisen når en får litt innsikt i kordan lokalbefolkninga har det. Dro også på en privat tur til Kuza Cave. Flott dryppsteingrotte med kjølig vann (24 grader) å bade i. 10 usd i inngang pr prs og lokalisert rett ovenfor Jambiani sentrum.
