My wife and I have stayed here a few times and have always had a good experience. The bed is comfortable and staff is helpful. We usually stay as part of a longer trip.

I enjoy my stay me and my wife had a good time. We just wanted to get out of town. You have a good time and this was a place to do it. The food and everything was exciting. The walkable walk was exciting not too far from each other but everything was good and I appreciate it thank you very much.

Room was run down & shabby; mould around bathtub; wi-fi would only work for a couple of minutes then drop; hot water was lukewarm at best; cumbersome checkin procedure.

Was on the road when I booked, so I thought I was booking at Cactus Pete's, but when I got there, I was told I was booked at the Horseshu across the street. If I would have paid closer attention I would have noticed, but I was more focused on what type of room (2 queens vs King) I was getting. I would have paid another $15 for the better room at Cactus Pete's. If I wanted to book across the street at the Horseshu, I would have expected it to show up as a separate booking option in the search. I might have rated better if would have been a great experience. Doesn't feel as secure as other hotels, there is no "front desk" no security door to get into the building (there is for your room). Place hasn't been updated and smells old. Bedding had a stain, wasn't sur how clean it was. The air unit didn't adjust from just being "on" the whole time so the room was colder than I wanted. No fridge or any common amneties. Whole area felt sketchy. Got about 4 hours sleep before I gave up and moved on to my next leg of my trip.
