Front desk clerk was so nice. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked that they had streaming on the TV, good I had my Netflix account. Nice breakfast.

Generally a very decent place with friendly staff and a nice breakfast offering. I only caution others to beware the bed frames. They're shin killers if you're not expecting anything sharp in the dark. Why would they even make these monsters?

Loved that it had a walk- in shower instead of a tub and lots of hooks and shelves instead of drawers. Plenty of outlets, both USB and regular and very comfortable beds. Also loved that it had clean laminate flooring instead of carpet. I was also surprised to walk in and find a personalized welcome message on the TV screen. Oh, and there was lots of adjustable lighting. Even the soap and lotion were better than other places. They had lemon and sugar aromatherapy soap and lotion. The only thing that disappointed me was that the shower head was not a hand held, as pictured on the website. It was definitely nicer than other hotel showerheads, though. My favorite stay so far.

The room smelled like sulfur. The setup of the room was nice, but the smell was very strong. When checking in I asked for water and was told it was only for Hilton Honors members, which we are. It was awkward. $75 fee for a pet is really steep for this hotel. I stayed at the Candlewood the following night and paid $10. I asked for a late checkout, we were in a strange situation where my daughter had a soccer tournament, and we could have games as late as 8pm, or be done by 5:45. A winter storm was happening and we were considering staying another night. The staff was not helpful in navigating that. I was told we could "hang out in the lobby." Then she said we could leave at 12:30, but were locked out of our room at 12 and had to be let in by staff, and were not allowed a key. The hotel was quite empty, and the staff was not helpful for our travel situation.

Great spot by the river, easy airport shuttle and clean rooms. The indoor pool was chilly and hot tub was barely warm but otherwise our stay was great. Staff was very friendly & responsive.
