Vibe Hotel is right in the middle of Hobart city, and close to Salamanca and the waterfront. It was very convenient to restaurants and shopping. The hotel was decorated nicely and felt very high-end, but I got this room at a highly discounted rate on Expedia. I felt like I paid for a 2-star hotel but got a 5-star experience; very good value ! Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable. Plated breakfast was also very good. There is a mini bar, but only a few items, so there is plenty of space in the fridge for your own things. Woolworths is next door, so easy to get snacks to stock the fridge.
