I have stayed before & I like the place & people; slightly disappointed that there was no effort to clear the car park of snow or indeed the path up to the door - it was very dangerous. No grit or salt laid either. They did say they had a shovel !

Shocking Hotel! Dirty rooms, bathroom wasn’t clean. Cobwebs hanging from bedroom and bathroom. The beds springs were broken which gave a ‘waterbed’ feel for my wife and I. A breeze block held the Christmas tree bass down in the lobby Very poor experience.

Excellent two night stay. Have stayed here a handful of times and appreciate the investment n the property. Wonderful dining experience in Ambers both for dinner and the buffet breakfast - which was excellent. Plenty of options including healthy as well as full English. Shame about the parking charge however wouldn’t deter us from staying again.

Very average hotel in need of an upgrade . Nice appearance from the outside and in a good location , reception area and bar pleasant but rooms are dated and our room was above main entrance so noisy given its where the smokers and vapers would gather . Room also not as clean as you would except for £120 a night and why only one plug socket on the far wall , bizarre . Sleep interrupted by the fire alarm , no apology on check out which was disappointing

Not the standard we expected.
Check had one machine with a yoing girl stood waiting for individuals to self check in to give keys out. Each customer she said if you are struggling she could help person in front of us didn't notice room no so she had to look it up. With us she asked our booking name so hax our key ready choice of one or two keys chose 2 but one made up already so why offer pointless. Registration of car cameras had read no incorrectly hope the person with that no doesn't receive a fine. The price of hotel parking should be free We had a bath but the gel was by the shower so if you wanted to use it you had to stand to reach it thoughtless.

Great stay (again)
Having stayed for the Christmas Market last year, we thoroughly enjoyed it & so decided to stay for a bit longer this year. We emailed before we went to book a quiet room, & got a reply straight away stating it was sorted. We arrived early (certainly earlier than when it was advertised our room would be ready), & they were happy to store our luggage. This left us free to go into Harrogate (a five minute stroll). We advised we were going out to dinner, & they arranged a taxi for us. Upon return, we had a few drinks at Cedar Court's own bar, & again the staff were genuine & friendly. The lounge was really cosy, with it's lovely tree and decorations, (as were all the other communal areas). Day 2, we realised we'd booked the Turkish Baths in town, but hadn't brought a bag for our bathing things. We sheepishly asked the lady on reception if they had anything we could borrow, expecting a "no" tbh. Bless her though, she found us a tote bag & a waterproof carrier to put inside. Lifesaver & genuinely appreciated 🙏 Again, the barstaff that night were exceptional, & we had such a relaxing time. The room was clean, warm, cosy, had a tv, comfy bed, lots of sockets, a bath & shower with lovely hot water (not the lukewarm efforts that some places have). The bed was big & we slept like babies - very comfy. On the last day, we ate at Amber's (which is their onsite restaurant). The restaurant is very elegant, and the food was totally outstanding. Overall opinion of this hotel - superb!

Fantastic trip to Harrogate. Service was as outstanding. Staff were so incredibly welcoming and helpful. Room was great, breakfast a delight and dinner in Amber’s was great value and enjoyable.
