Great relaxing stay!
This VRBO was the perfect location for an outdoorsy weekend! Very close to a lot of hikes, we white water rafted right down the road and we walked around the adorable neighborhood. We cooked each night that we were there. Had an incredible stay! Thank you!

Great cabin
Great cabin, great location, very clean. Ad on VRBO is a bit misleading and the need to log-in to another property rental software is annoying. Property managers send multiple requests for data and sales opportunities throughout your stay. Keys are obtained from an offsite lock box which seems unnecessary. Internet wasn't great. Get through all that though and it's a very nice home.

Outstanding Chalet
Beautiful, comfortable chalet for our 3 generation family, including toddler. Property manager was in constant contact to ensure everything was going smoothly during our 4-day stay (it did!). Fun on Mt Baker & hiking the trails, followed by relaxing in the hot tub & playing games next to the cozy, warm fireplace. A perfect long weekend! Highly recommend the home, and look forward to returning!

Ski cabin getaway
5 friends and a dog enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Quick drive to Mt. Baker, about 30 minutes. Well stocked kitchen, literally has EVERYTHING! Sound travels well in this cabin, it wasn't a problem for us but I could see it being a problem with groups who have different sleeping schedules.

Lovely & cozy ski chalet
We had a lovely time at the cabin. The soaring rock fireplace is the centerpiece of a very warm and inviting living area. The beds were very comfortable, the hot tub was clean and the covered wraparound deck was a great spot for connecting outdoors. The extra large king bedroom and sitting area is a cozy space to hang out. Be aware the king bedroom is in a loft area with no door which was no problem for us, but if you’re a light sleeper, the room is open to the rest of the house. We enjoyed a day of skiing at Mount Baker, coming back for a warm hot tub and cooking in the open kitchen around the fire. The cool digital check-in screen made check-in/check out very easy!

Great place close to Mt Baker
Very nice home close to Mt Baker that we used a a base for day hikes in the area. The home was well equipped and comfortable. The check in process was a bit complicated but the instructions were accurate on how to get into the gated subdivision. The Glacier area had a power outage for 3 days before we arrived and the rental agency notified us in advance which allowed us to delay our arrival time until the power was restored.

Clean and cozy, but don't count on WiFi
The space was a comfortable size for our party of 4 adults, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches to accommodate dogs (e.g., dishes, towel, bed). We appreciated the proximity to hiking (river access just down the road) and, of course, Mt. Baker. It is important for guests to know that WiFi is VERY spotty - it was never on for more than a minute or so at a time while we were there. Not a big deal if you're planning on disconnecting anyway, but something to be aware of. We were out of contact with a sick family member, which we wished we had been better prepared for.

Won't be coming back
We would not return to this property. It had plenty of basics and some nice upgrades to the kitchen and bathrooms but there were some pretty bad details that amount to a less than satisfactory stay. For starters, the sky light in the bedroom leaked. Luxury Getaways knew about it ahead of our stay and chose not to warn us or even give us an option for another property, cancellation or partial refund. They called the day we arrived to tell us about it and that it had been leaking for four days and that someone would come out to repair it but that never happened. And so it leaked on the floor in front of our bed off and on during our entire stay. And there was also a drip onto our Apple TV device that we didn't realize was happening until it was time to pack up. Speaking of packing up, we decided to leave the property one day early which we've never done before. Also, the BBQ on the deck was full of mold and definitely not useable. I sent a note to the property managers about that but never heard back. When we arrived there were no trash bags for the kitchen trash can. They did manage to bring us some of those promptly. And the next day we realized there were no dishwasher pellets, which they then also brought us fairly promptly. The master bed frame was quite squeaky which didn't make for great sleep, especially when you add the occasional dripping coming from the skylight. On the upside, the hot tub worked great and was nice and big, unfortunately it looks right out on the construction site of the house being built about 20 yards away next door. And the neighborhood itself was great for short walks and a bit of trail exploring. We might come back to this area but definitely won't be coming back to this property.

good experience with some minor feedback
We enjoyed the place very much and had a good time here. The house is very clean and the place is really nice. Pet friendly and prepared dog treat which is very sweet. But the mattress is not comfy, especially for people who have lower back pain, it can not provide enough support. And there is no hair dryer and no extra trash bag. I would expect such basic supply in general.

Lovely stay!
We had a wonderful time staying cozy in the cabin and exploring some of the local hikes. I'd return in the future, but I have a few notes, especially for large groups: The cabin sleeps six and feels both cozy (lots of wood, comfy sofas) and spacious (high ceilings, lots of room). However, there are only five chairs at the table, so we pulled over an armchair from the living room area. The upstairs (king) bed is comfortable, but it is *extremely* loud. Groaning springs and creaking headboard when you so much as flip your pillow over. The blanket is also really warm and the heat rises to the top, so if you sleep warm you might want to bring a lighter blanket. You might also want to bring some extra blankets for cozying up in the downstairs living room. The hot tub was great and fit six comfortably. The kitchen is well-appointed and the appliances are good. The TV was fine but its sound quality was a bit lacking. The internet worked well, all things considered. Overall we had a lovely stay and we'd be happy to return in the future!

Exactly what we were looking for
The property is well laid out and had all accommodations for cooking, relaxing and having fun. Description of accommodations were accurate and we were pleasantly surprised by the speed and consistency of the internet. Not super fast but sufficient for surfing and light streaming. Community was great and safe. Proximity to Mt. Baker and trails can’t be matched. Chair 9 restaurant is a block away from the community and had good food and outdoor seating. Excellent experience. Only minor complaint was the building going on nearby but crews operated within reasonable hours and were mostly mindful.
