The rooms were basic but clean and had all of the amenities like A/C, microwave and refrigerator in the room and coffee provided in the office so we had a very pleasant stay. A day after booking, I received a very confusing email about a property service fee that should have been included in my total Expedia cost. It must have been, since I didn't pay more than I expected but this confusion seemed totally unnecessary and should have been disclosed at the time I booked.

The room was run down. Poorly maintained. It looked like the rooms you see in badly maintained government housing on TV. I expected the bare minimum, not the ghetto. I will never stay at another OYO. You should take this OYO in Alpine off your site.

Nothing like the pictures
There is no way the rooms in these photos on actually in this motel. The rooms are dirty, the shower had mold, the bathroom light only worked 50% of the time, there was expired beer and food in the fridge, the hotel owner insulted my friends driving (she was parking slowly, not reckless or poorly at all), the room smelled terrible. I’m used to staying in low-cost accommodations so I’ve stayed in my fair share of dirty/sketchy motels. But this place is an absolute catfish of a listing, if you're not comfortable with grungy highway motels don’t stay here

Bait and Switch!
Horrible- we anticipated it being bare bones, but the pictures online were incredibly misleading. The room was next to what looked like a regular resident- he was working on his truck outside the door. Window curtain didn’t even fully cover the window. Sink was about to fall off the wall, bedding smelled and looked unwashed. We left- went to another hotel because we felt incredibly unsafe and the place was not sanitary

Older, spacious room with unique layout. Microwave and fridge for this price is great. Staff was friendly and thoughtful on both check-in and check-out. Wifi worked great!

I won't be returning.
The place is very tired. The picture is not even close to what we were met with upon arrival. I would have left but we were too tired. A sign in the lobby said "no refunds after 15min of arrival." Obviously, others weren't as tired and they left.

The room was a disaster. The door lock didn’t work. The floor was dirty with crumbs of food and old spills that were half wiped up. The mini fridge was dirty and sticky, there was food spilled on top that was half cleaned up. The tub was seriously clogged with hair in the drain; even after removing as much as I could, it still didn’t drain. The mirrors were streaked; they were half way cleaned. The sink and faucet fixtures were spattered with toothpaste and soap scum. The toilet paper holder was broken and the pieces were on top of the toilet tank. When I went to take a towel off the towel bar the whole thing clattered to the floor, broken. There was a large soft spot in the bathroom floor where the sub floor seemed to be rotting. There were many previous repairs to the room that were done with an extreme lack of care or attention to detail. This is one of the worst rooms we’ve ever stayed in, and we stay in inexpensive, modest, unassuming places. This hotel owner should be ashamed, and should at least clean the rooms throughly between guests, even if the maintenance is lacking.

Rundown, one star (at the best), dirty hotel. Not being renovated for probably 50 years. Kitchen counter and vanity are made of plain 2x4 boards and plywood. Dirty carpets and spring mattresses are awful. We had a room with kitchen where no dishes, cookware, and any silverware or utensils exit. Toilet is in stains and smells with sewer. Rooms did not have any sound proofing so that we can hear everything in the room above. This hotel should be delisted from Expedia.

Staff was nice. Otherwise, this hotel is very bad, neglect, run-down, and unsafe: - Smoke alarm's battery compartment was open and had no battery in it - Bath tub drained very slowly - Toilet tissue holder was broken so the roll was left on top of the water tank - Vanity did not have a counter, just a sink and mirror - The microwave was rusted in the inside - There were holes in the laminated floor planks

There was no hot water for the shower and when I went to the office for help i rang the bell 3 times and no one came. This was at 730 am. I can handle dirty and cramped, you get what you pay for at $50, but no hot shower is a deal breaker. I want a refund.

Hard to understand them speaking. Room was beyond bad. Looks like a 10 year old did the repairs. Blood on the wall ac was so noisy slept with it off. Light switch didn’t work tv didn’t work bed was so so. Will not stay there again.
