Beautiful hotel in the heart of the jungle. The location is ideal for people looking to spend time in Tikal. My partner and I could not have spent as much time in Tikal as we got to if we weren't staying here. Less than 10 minute walk from my room to the gait of Tikal. The bungalows were so cute and the property winds through the jungle itself. We could hear monkeys and see birds right outside our window. The rooms did not have AC so it was hot but I can't be too upset about it - it's the middle of the jungle. There was a restaurant and a bar in the property. My partner and I are pescatarians and there were many dining options. There is an outdoor pool near the main building that we were able to swim around in late into the night. The staff were very helpful. We were able to get shuttles to and from the airport in Flores. The shuttle driver even waited 1+ hour at the air port because our plane was delayed. When we got to our room late at night our hot water wasn't working - when I brought it up to staff the next morning they had it fixed within the hour. The big downside is this hotel is very isolated so there aren't other restaurants or shopping easily accessible. I would love to stay again.

Staying at this hotel is a unique experience that you should probably participate in if you go to Tikal. It’s worth the extra cost and it’s so convenient as it is adjacent to the park. It’s a matter of walking five minutes to the park entrance. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Couple things you should know for sure before you book here is that they turn the lights off at night and you have only one light in your room after that, there’s no air conditioning. There is a fan in the ceiling, however which works pretty well. When we were there, it was 90° and very humid. You will notice that the sheets can be damp because of the humidity. Nighttime cools down to the 70s so you can sleep. The Casitas are covered with foliage and trees so they keep cooler than you would think. The pool is nice and refreshing. I don’t like heat or humidity, but I was OK for this three day holiday. Just accept and enjoy it if you stay here. It is unique. I would return.

Close to visit Tikal far to be a nice hotel
Very close to the site, far from the pictures showed, not all the rooms have electricity, if your room is close to the restaurant will be difficult to sleep before midnight… when probably you want to wake up early to visit the site… You expect a nice hotel but when you see that the reception guys sleep at night where they work you can understand it’s still far from a high quality hotel.

Perfect if you want the full jungle experience. No ac and we ran out of warm water. But if you’re ready for the full experience this is the place. It’s beautiful and you can hear the sound of birds and disconnect from reality. WiFi in the lobby only. I would definitely stay here again.

Un lugar mágico, maravilloso hotel…lo único que me sugeriría es que el restaurant y el bar abriera hasta más tarde, cierra a las 9 pm y no hay otras opciones cerca para comer o tomarse algo

The most natural environment in the Jungle of Tikal where one could hear the wildlife from your room. Enough space in between bungalows allows tremendous privacy.

Would recommend
The best place to stay for Tikal, and the only reason to go. Spider monkeys and Howler monkeys all around make it an amazing place to spend a couple of nights. We stayed 2 nights which was perfect. We arrived late afternoon and headed straight for the pool which was a god-send. Dinner on site (no choice as no other restaurants nearby) was good. Up at 6am we were first through the park gates which were only 100m ish from our room and we had Tikal to ourselves. There is a sunrise tour who go in at 4.30 ish but they were at the far end of the site by then. We had 20 mins in the Grand Plaza just the 2 of us. It was very cool. We had a good look round and then back to the Lodge for late morning. Then we booked a sunset tour that left 3.30 ish and we watched the sun go down on a guided tour. This was good as the guide was helpful about the local wildlife. Guide was only $15 US each.
