Historic hotel with modern features. Didn’t particularly like the parking, a good hike especially in bad weather. Found it odd that there wasn’t an ice bucket.

By far the nicest hotel room we’ve stayed in. Great view over the town of Farmville. Restaurant was nice as well. Breakfast was not included on the weekend which was disappointing. Several people were in the hall conversing at 3am which woke us up. The doors are very thin. Other then that it was a great stay.

The heating did not work in the room I was assigned. Sam, the desk clerk, was kind enough to move me to another room, but it was still a negative experience.

Location us great

We had a large comfortable room with a very large bathroom with walk in shower. The hotel is across the street from Longwood University and very close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Very nice little Main Street with lovely Christmas decorations.

Being a locally ran hotel they lack in customer service and not worth the price. I was double charged for a room and they refused to return the proper amount owed to me. Our room door closed once but after that would not fully close again (safety concern). A broken closet door would not open and there was no hair dryer. I called the front desk and no one answered. I told them about this when we checked out.
