Stay summary

The location was spot on couldn’t ask for a better location. The staff were nice. Our room had a shower with a very dirty shower curtain and the bed though had terrible cheap sheets that came off. I also woke up with a bug on my arm.

We stayed here just one night on our roadtrip. The hotel has a convenient location with a marina on the lake Erie right across the road and downtown just a few minute drive away. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. We had a very spacious family accommodation that had a nice bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Everyhting was really clean. I also had a chance to use the nice indoor pool and a whirlpool. Breakfast was good.

Pros: Wonderful location near the water and a very short drive to parks, shops, restaurants, museum, library. Front desk staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. 24-hour convenience shop stocked with drinks, tv dinners, snacks and more. AC worked excellently. Very roomy room with a large fridge, dishwasher, stovetop, microwave, pots and pans. Fast, easy checkout. I love when hotels offer a king-size mattress but... Cons: The king-size mattress was really lumpy and uncomfortable, and the fitted sheet was too small and didn't even cover the corners. We had to ask for a new fitted sheet and remake the bed ourselves. Filthy floors, after showering and walking around the room barefoot for about 1/2 an hour my feet were black on the bottom, gross. Pull-out couch had a 2-inch thin uncomfortable mattress for our daughter. Lobby bar was closed for our entire 4-day stay. TV remote didn't work very well, even with new batteries, the buttons had to be pressed and held really hard to turn on/off or change channels. Cobblestone could be really nice if an effort was made to clean/repair little things like broken tiles, leaking showerheads, tv remotes and filthy carpets. It would be even better with a major upgrade, like better mattresses and room furniture. The restaurant across the street is convenient but noisy at night.

We rode up on motorcycles and there were 4 adults. We just went on an over night stay the parking lot was roomy and there’s a restaurant/bar across the road that we were able to walk to for dinner. The staff were friendly. Room was clean. Water pressure was great

The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The breakfasts were correct. On the downside the bedsheets were two small and needed to be constantly adjusted. The toilet needs to be fixed.

Poor choice hotel.

Staff were very kind, location of this “hotel” obviously is not their responsibility. Would not recommend this facility to anyone who wants a quiet night, not only because you can hear people in the adjacent rooms, particularly those above, every flush and footstep in this cheaply constructed building, but Bay Front traffic roars past less than 40’ from the windows and A/C wall unit. There were no towels, a simple oversight that was quickly corrected when we called, no problem. The principal entrance to the property was chained off so access is from a secondary entrance with signage located in the middle of the lane, careful trying to avoid hitting it when arriving. Why anyone would want to stay here is beyond me.
