Comfortable but has flaws
Check in was good except they don't tell you on the website that there is a $10 a day parking charge which ok not a big deal breaker. Get up to the room and the mini fridge is all iced up and not cold so had to turn it off and let it defrost overnight which we did but should have had to but we had a cold fridge for rest of trip. The pool was so cold you better be a polar bear or get hypothermia your pick. The hot tub was luke warm my 2 year old has had hotter tubs. The room came with a Jacuzzi tub but the jets barely had any pressure. Overall the location was convenient for us and the rooms are big and the beds are comfy. The breakfast is meh but it's free so if your on a budget the breakfast is ok.

When my daughter and I checked in yesterday, the desk staff informed us that he'd upgraded us from two double beds to two queens. It was nice. The staff was very helpful and informative. The room was the perfect size for our needs. It smelled fantastic, the beds were super comfortable, and it was quiet. Given its proximity to the downtown area, that was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast this morning was delightful and the dining room staff were happy to help. All in all, this was an excellent stay.

The staff there were professional and friendly. Our room was clean and quiet. We had an easy time arriving at the hotel and parking there. Breakfast had many options, including hot food. My favourite thing about this hotel was the complementary chai tea in the room additional to the coffee. Easy walk to Roger’s Place for the oilers game.

Good Budget Friendly Hotel
If you looking for a budget friendly hotel this one will do. Staff were friendly, room was clean and free breakfast had good selection. Hotel is a little older and ran down. There was a lot of noise from the bar downstairs which didn’t help as we had the room right above the bar.

The staff was friendly. The air conditioning is controlled by the staff for the entire building. Around 1am it was extremely cold so the heater that was in the room i turned on to 73. Woke up around 4am sweating went to the heater it was now at 90 and was not turning off or down. I called the front desk to assist and that’s when they told me that the air conditioning is controlled on one thermostat and apparently majority of the rooms complained about it being cold so they can’t adjust it. But they could bring a fan to my room and have maintenance come and turn the heater off 😒

Old Hotel for sure the smell of sewage is pretty bad in places. The dirt build up in the corners is pretty bad and the doors are delaminating everywhere you look. Wallpaper is pealing and the smell of bleach wears off by noon. The “free” breakfast was absolutely disgusting. Not a place to stay especially for 3nights.
