Front desk clerk was friendly and knowledgeable. The room needed improvement on cleanliness in particular the bathroom. The breakfast was lacking not what we were use to from other Hamptons we have stayed at.

The hotels in a great location; otherwise it was standard for a hotel. Also standard for Hamptons, the fitted sheets are never pulled tight on the beds so fighting the corners all night. Sheets also had 3 rips in them so time to discard. This seems common for Hamptons. Also common is they never have any decent channels on the television for when you come in at night. Otherwise it’s standard hotel with good, fast check in service & average amenities. Edenton is a beautiful little town and hotel was convenient to everything we wanted to see so the location was its best point.

This was an emergency stay because the Hampton Inn in Elizabeth City, NC had bed bugs and we needed a room. This location was 27 miles from ECSU, but it was clean, the guy at the front desk who greeted us that night was amazing. He was even grossed out at other hotel having bed bugs. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The woman in the phots still works there! I told her she was famous. lol Very nice lady. If you have to travel to Elizabeth City and the hotel you choose has bedbugs, come to this hotel. It’s CLEAN!!!!!
