Avoid

The property was reasonably clean and pretty as described in the add. However at arrival the storm door was locked so entry was impossible which the agent remedied after a call and text. From there it went downhill immediately, broken bed,doors towel rods,along with a huge spill in the oven that smoked the entire home up at first useand the septic tanks out front were so foul you could not use front porch…The agent did offer a small refund and I have pics along with text of all the items mentioned. Even better now the agent has made a fraudulent insurance claim on the broken bed that was damaged when we arrived the she offered to have handyman come repair… …Its listed cheap and I now know why… I will avoid going forward!

Family Gathering

This property was perfect for a 4 generation gathering, ages 7 months old to 89 yrs. - Plenty of room to spread out. The first floor Master Bedroom/Ensuite with walk in shower was perfect for my 89 yr old mother. Great memories were made.

Busy Family Weekend

We enjoyed our long weekend - attending UGA graduation, state shot-gun competition, boating, kayaking, playing billiards, and just enjoying the fellowship. The cicadas were in full song and the Northern Lights added to the weekend.

Fishing weekend getaway

We enjoyed our trip. The house was clean, located close to multiple restaurants, bars, and other activities. I would recommend this house to anyone traveling to this area and will definitely be staying again. Thanks!

Relaxing quick trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at Loch Oconee! We had two families with kids ranging in age from 6-12 and we had plenty of room. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, smores on the fire, fishing (only caught one small one), billiards, and ping pong. The owner was helpful and quick to respond if we had questions. We had a great time!

Short weekend

My family enjoyed our short weekend stay. Jeanine was friendly and helpful in accommodating my family’s needs. Sadly, we weren’t “home” much, as we were in town for a baseball tournament and spent most of our time away from the home. But, it was a comfortable and relaxing place of rest at the end of a few long days. Thanks for sharing your property with us.

Relaxing Lake Oconee Getaway!

Beautiful, serene home for a relaxing, lowkey getaway to Lake Oconee! Jeanine was a very accommodating host and her home is incredibly clean, inviting and well-appointed with all the comforts of home! The yard was an added plus for our pup and the view of the lake was wonderful. We would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend it!

Perfect vacation

The house and location is perfection. A small quiet neighborhood with beautiful homes. We loved the lake access, spent so much time on the front porch, and the kids loved the pool table and downstairs privacy. I would love to visit this house in the winter as well—so cozy and comfortable.

Great property in Lake Oconee

Loch Nest was a lovely home in a convenient location with everything we needed for our stay. The kids especially enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table in the basement. Jeanine was a great host. She was very responsive, accommodating and offered helpful recommendations for the area. We would definitely stay again!

quick getaway

Enjoyed the lake views, firepit, nice grill and game options for a quick 3 night winter getaway to get out of the city. We brought our dog and it was nice to have an area almost fenced in (we easily contained him). Very clean home and nice neighborhood.

Great Weekend

Great stay, owner was responsive to questions, would definitely stay here again. Puppy/child gate over basement steps was great for our toddler. Rooms are large, fit pack and play easily in master. Thanks so much!

Final weekend vacation for summer 2021

We came for a family weekend at the Lake with two Birthday’s being celebrated. This house was beautiful, clean, convenient and fully stocked with necessities. Our time in the game room playing pool and other games was great for indoor entertainment and the lake was perfect for outdoors. This was one of the best stays we have had and we really hope to do it again…. we want to thank the host for such an awesome job!

CLEAN AND QUIET

The owner clearly takes the time to provide you with the things you need- condiments stocked in fridge, shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent…all greatly appreciated. Wood for fire pit provided. House is clean and enjoyable. Fishing was great off the dock. My only complaint would be that the beds are HARD- We had to try 2 different rooms and I ended up on the couch. If that is what you like, you are good to go!

GREST MINI VACAY!!

The house was perfect for my family and pups. Jeanine was very helpful with any questions I had and very quick to reply back. The house is big and cozy and located in a perfect cove that makes it easy to ride your paddleboard. We had plenty of room for our pontoon boat and 2 jet skis! We will definitely stay here again!! :)
