The property needs some updating. Dining chairs are very worn looking, our room needed painting, the elevator was quite scratched up. The pool area was cold and the pool water was murky. We did not use it as it looked unclean.

Late check ins. Arrived at 12:53 am. Fast courteous check in. Last time we visited Dodge City and booked a night at one of your competitors and was told by the front desk that his boss does not like them to check in people after midnight. There was no mention of that on the website when we checked in. They did check us in, but not without a bit of a stir.

We were caught in the closure of I-70 on September 17th so we showed up VERY late. Alex greeted us with good humor and friendliness. He was terrific. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Granted, it’s an older facility and some updating/replacement should be done but everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it was whisper quiet all night. Breakfast was good, nothing exceptional but the dining area was clean and the food was fresh with the exception that the English muffin was stale. Although we probably won’t return to this area, we would definitely stay here again.

The little shampoo bottles in the bathroom were both half used. That’s gross. So was one of the conditioners. I think the housekeeper got distracted and forgot to replace them. Otherwise, loved the room! Very nice!!

Check in is awful! The man at the desk is always never around, once a cleaning lady had to go find him outside and bring him back for us. He is rude, non informative and the worst to deal with. Their indoor pools temperature was below 50 degrees. The man at the front just told us well it’s not a hot tub what do you expect. This place could be phenomenal place to stay if they had a better person running it.

Stayed here for 3 days with a group of friends for an event in Dodge. Check in with was smooth but when I went to bed, I noticed a couple of bugs, when I moved the pillows, the bed was crawling with them. Eventually they gave me a new room but the really helpful lady on late night duty at reception could only do that if I produced photos to prove it because she needed to explain the room allocation to her manager. Comfort Suites is not an expensive brand but clearly this original room hadn’t been used for a while and nobody bothered to check it. I expect better and if it hadn’t been for the late night receptionist, this would be a 1 star review
