Everything was fine until the desk clerk called my cellphone at 1:22 a.m on the morning of our departure asking if we were still coming to check in. I settled all matters the day prior and on check in two days before, as she was aware! I made attempts to complain but got voicemail. No one responded! She woke us up. We only wanted a restful stay so we could visit my 96 year old dad at nearby Henry Ford hospital.

Hotel staff- was helpful with changing my room. The first room I didn’t go inside because my neighbors were having a party. The next day I needed to cancel my stay and they were no help at all. They blamed Expedia for not providing me a receipt. They said don’t book on Expedia if you need to cancel a reservation early even after checking in. With that being said I was charged an extra night and the customer service was bad during the holiday season. Hotel room- beds felt cheap and box spring made noise every time I moved. Cover had a red stain on it. Shower had hair in the tub.

The Hotels.com reservation did not make it to my hotel. I paid for the reservation the night before, but it was not on file at the Hampton Inn. I had to pay again for the room. So I need hotels.com to refund what I paid directly to the hotel on arrival.

Night from hell

We booked this hotel in Novi/Commerce Twp for the weekend. We had a room above us that kept jumping and stomping. It sounded like they were going to come thru the ceiling. Finally called the desk at midnight,as our 4 and six year old were kept up all night. The desk clerk was extremely kind and said they would take care of it. It did stop most of the noise, but we checked out and didn’t stay the second night, choosing to cut our visit short. We were all too exhausted from lack of sleep.

Not the quietest or cleanest hotel

Room was old and needed some updates such as torn carpet and peeling paint. The next morning, the house keeping staff was extremely loud and tried to enter the room to clean it several hours before the noon check-out time.

Stayed in a suite on 4th floor. It faced route MI-5 and I heard way too much road noise. The mattress wasn’t good either; felt cheap. The highlight was the breakfast area, which was expertly run and maintained.
