My team was booked here because of the location, readings and breakfast buffet availability at 6:30am. The buffet was not available until 7:30am according to an employee, and, the same employee said the breakfast is not that good anyway. My team needed to change rooms because of cleanliness. We found bugs in the rooms and the need skirt had blood on it. The stay was a disappointment.

The free breakfast was the smallest I'd ever seen. We spent 2hrs waiting for our room to be ready, beyond the 4pm check-in. The onsite restaurant had no one working, so after waiting quite a while, we left and walked to a different restaurant down the road.

The location is good, the staff was nicer than over the phone and I guess if you are travelling with kids the water park would be great. I didn't like the room in general, smell very bad and everything inside looked old. The keys didn't work most of the time and that could get frustrating. Easy check in and check out. Great parking. I never saw the pizza @breakfast and besides that all they had was yogurt, cereals and granola bars.

Well-apponted room and large bath.
The rooms are arranged around extremely long corridors which wrap around a central atrium... a very long walk from our room to the reception area which connects to an enormous atrim evoking one of those 70's-era Las Vegas motels a couple blocks off the Strip. Our room, however, was large and comfortable, with one of the best bathrooms we had seen on this long car trip, featuring a large, tiled, walk-in shower, a refreshing change from those slippery bathtubs found in motels all across the country. Convenient location, easy on-and-off Interstate 35/80.

Check in was fine. However that was the only thing. Bathroom door didn’t close or latch. Pool shut down early Saturday night. Was going to eat at Boss’ Pizzeria but it was so dirty I am going to call the health department. Lifeguards were LATE and/or didn’t show on Sunday so they only opened half of the pool. (After multiple parents complained.) Continental breakfast was a joke. There was a small selection of cereal with a gallon of milk on ice and the coffee was out. Very disappointed!

We stayed at your hotel from 9-27 through 9/29. This was as a very poor experience. First, we had mold in our 1st room (#161) when moved to second room (#181) which also had mold and when it was brought to the attention of the check in staff, they sent maintenance and he simply denied that it was mold and wiped it off. First of all mold doesn't just "wipe off" and second rust does not grow on drywall. We were then moved to room 283 (third move by the way). Second the website states a "Buffet" breakfast as well as the check in staff confirming the "Buffett" breakfast. When we showed up Sat morning at 8am for the "Buffet" breakfast, it was pizza which was empty and once it came out was just one pizza, not very "Buffet" now is it. With the amount of people how far do you think 1 pizza will go? Third, the hotel had a very distasteful odor of a mix of old, musty, dirty odor. We frequently visit the Ramada water park hotel in Sioux Falls, SD and have never experienced such an awful stay. The pool had floaties and seemed cloudy, to me that states filtration issues. We picked your hotel so my granddaughter could enjoy swimming and a good stay. Fourth the front desk was asked for a couple extra towels for room #113 which never were delivered so we had to share a wet towel to dry after the shower and we had the maid service please on the door Sat and it was not done. We left 1 day early, staff at front were getting short, snappy, and rude.

Over all it wasn’t a bad place to stay. The water park and arcade were really nice but every time you asked the staff a question the answer was “I don’t know it’s not my job” the breakfast was absolutely terrible and only offered burnt breakfast pizza and oranges. When we asked for extra blankets we got told there wasn’t any.

I was hesitant with all the reviews, but overall, for the price, we had a good stay. Check in: we did online check in that was sent to us, but still had to wait in line in the lobby for keys and our room was not ready at check in time. They finally found us a different room. I can tell you one woman was down there upset as she found bedbugs and none of the staff knew what to do or would try to accommodate her. Another man was upset no one had come to see if he needed his room cleaned for 3 days and was told he needed to hang a sign outside his door, which no one gave him. Our room: it was clean and there was a staff member checking on it when we arrived. The hallway smelled of marijuana, but that really is not their fault, but not sure if anyone addressed it either. Someone else told me later their room had rose petals on the floor and food in frig, so not always clean. Waterpark: crowded (but again, not their fault), but still places to play. Hot tub for adults only but jets did not work. Breakfast: in the bar area and it consists of breakfast pizza, a bowl of fruit, juice, and coffee. Not a lot of choices, but overall good. They had trouble keeping up on the pizza with as many people in there to eat. I think this hotel could be really nice, but I feel maybe Ramada needs to step in, train the employees better, It is cheaper than many around the area and has more to do in the hotel. You will take your chances staying there.

The employees
It was a fun place and comfortable enough, but the people working the front desk were horrible. Rude, unhelpful, uncaring, and lazy. The life guards were the only ones there doing their jobs.
