A budget stay

Room (114) and bed clean and a fair size. No working TV with regular channels such as BBC. Electric wall heater broken. Left in room plug in radiator which used remaining socket for charging. Had to ask reception for set of towels as room service had not left enough. Black Mould on bathroom ceiling and rusty on shower rail. Plenty of free car parking. Asked to sign form 'terms and conditions' on arrival but unable to provide either a digital or hard copy. Unbelievable! Apparently I was the first person ever to ask to see them!

I use the hotel whenever I’m travelling north or south as a half way. Usually only arrive and go to sleep. Ive not eaten there yet so can’t comment on the food. Hotel is clean, WiFi decent and bed comfortable. I don’t really use much else. Fits the bill for me and my needs.

Fabulous staff at this hotel

A good hotel. Comfortable and offers what us needed for a short stay. However the staff are amazing and in particular the wonderful manager Catherine. They are helpful, friendly and go above what I would expect to make it welcoming. Will definitely stay again.

Smelly room. A pungent drain smell. I asked to be moved but was told there was no other rooms available. I cut my stay short as I couldn't stick the smell. I only sayed one night in the end, but paid for 2

Excellent for East Midlands airport. Room was really good, spacious, clean and warm. Much better than a Premier Inn/Travelodge. Would definitely book again next time flying from EMA.

Really nice place to stop over, comfortable, warm, clean, restaurant onsite, close to amenities. i would have liked to have secured an agreement on price to stay there 48 weekends per year. as i am constantly searching for local accommodation each weekend.

A comfortable, convenient stay

A nice clean, comfortable room with hot water and good WiFi. The bar was well stocked for a night cap, The hotel is really close to the M1 and 5 mins drive from a village with a pub and curry house.
