OJ's - luxury retreat minutes from shopping and restaurants

The new OJ's is a luxury retreat in the beautiful spa town of Daylesford, 50 metres from the main shopping centre with it's myriad of cafes, wine bars, award winning restaurants and shopping. A short stroll will take you to the lake, or you may like to try the hatted Lake House restaurant and wander back to your retreat. OJ’s can sleep 6-there is one queen bedroom, one double, as well as a king or if you prefer, twin. All beds have beautiful French linens, and electric blankets for those chilly Daylesford nights. The cosy lounge has a gas log fire, which makes the living areas nice & toasty. There is also air-con/heating in all the rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a storm, or just laze in the courtyard or on the deck and take in the beautiful views of Daylesford.

Wonderful stay
Beautiful character home on a wonderful location. Suited our group of friends perfectly. Stunning outdoor areas to relax or have drinks. One bedroom is located off the courtyard but joined to the main building. All 3 bedrooms are very comfortable and Jane has thought of everything for your stay. Jane is onsite and easy to contact with great response times. Check in and check out were very easy. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning.

This house is amazing. The location is perfect, you do not need to get in your car. It is decorated like it is owner occupied, absolutely stunning. Please note that to reach the third bedroom you have to go outside through the kitchen door.Thank you for a wonderful stay.stayandrequests.

A trip to remember
Jane's house was immaculately presented with the finest touches of luxury that was appreciated by all. The French Linen was a delight after a day of shopping in Daylesford - which is a short stroll away. The sunset view from the front of the house was spectacular and we enjoyed the manicured gardens whilst we sat outside enjoying local cheeses and wines. It was a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable break from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne. We are to return for sure!

Beautiful Stay at OJ’s in Daylesford
This place is stunning!! Everything is beautiful, from the stylish decor to the luxury linen and super comfy beds. We also loved the gas log fire, so warm and cosy… Perfect location, so close to all the shops and restaurants. Our host, Jane has thought of everything including pantry items and coffee machine. Beautiful fresh flowers was a lovely touch, thank you.

Delightful and well equipped little cottage, very convenient to the main street of Daylesford. Two rooms are in the house, the other is at the back of the house about 5m from the back door (this wasn’t an issue for us, but might be something to consider for others). Everything was beautifully presented, the bedrooms were very cosy and the kitchen extremely well equipped! Thank you!

Overall the house was beautiful, our host Jane was there to greet us & pass on info we needed to know, everything we needed was provided & more, the pantry was stocked with more than we expected. Gas fire was amazing, so was the decor, comfortable living for our girls weekend away of 4 Netflix was a bonus, & location was also good. would highly recommend. Lovely 2 bedroom plus bungalow home close to the main street. Luxury linens, everything is lovely quality even the tea towels. Jane lives onsite in a studio and her sister is next door so help is always available. Only issue (not mentioned in the ad) was that one bedroom is separate to the house so not suitable for anyone who needs the toilet overnight in cold weather. Gorgeous vintage furniture and a very homely vibe throughout.

Delightful cottage in close to main attractions of Daylesford
Jane is a great hostess - she communicated well with us prior to our stay and was on hand to answer any questions. She even 'puppysat' for us the first night! The cottage is located less than a 5 min walk from the main street of Daylesford and just a 5 minute walk down to the Lake. Very comfy beds and a well stocked kitched - and a lovely treat of Easter eggs for us to fill up on. The garden had loads of seated areas to sit and enjoy coffee and read. Highly recommend. We loved our stay at OJ’s. The sweet garden was a beautiful welcome to such a pretty house. Although warm outside, the house was lovely and cool inside. Two compact but modern bathrooms were ideal, and the three bedrooms were comfortable, and beautiful. I particularly loved the bed linens. The seating in the lounge was perfect for an evening chat before heading to our comfy beds. The outside deck was also another good option for a drink and a chat, with a pleasing view. Would love to come again 😁
