I booked a queen bed for the two of us. When my husband signed in, we were given a room that was handicapped and right next to the desk. The hotel is old if though it is being remodeled it still looks old and smells old. Pool was closed. Hotel was just down the road from Subway and Subways dumpster was not far from the entrance to the hotel. Manager was nice but evening staff were loud.

They were really awesome about all my pets. Even made me a deal while we were there with the pet fee. The issues we had were either the room phones didnt work, or no one knew how to use them. So when i would leave, i had no way to contact my husband. He doesn't have a cell phone and we i called the hotel to transfer the call to the room, it either wasn't working or they didn't know how. Im thinking they weren't working because i also had to call the hotel from my cell phone because no one would answer the house phone. Also it was under construction so the pool was unavailable. And their breakfast was cheap great value junk food that they bought at Walmart. Needs improvement.

Clean but bad smell.

The rooms seemed to be clean, but the hotel had a bad smell to it. Breakfast was provided, but closed early for some reason. Pool was closed for some reason as well. Rooms had clean sheets but bathroom was super small.

This hotel is old and in disrepair. I wanted a non smoking room. On my way to the room all i could smell was smoke in the hallway. At first my room smelled fine. About 20 min after i could smell the cigarette smoke in my room. I went down to the lobby and they did change my room and no problens with the second room. I went back up to get my bags and noticed that the room right next to mine was a smoking room. Why they have non smoking and smoking next to each other is crazy. One of the beds had cigarette burns on the sheets. And in the morning i realized my windows did not lock. I was on the first floor. It was a last minute reservation so i ended up paying a lot of money which was unfortunate.

Once we signed in and went to our room the air conditioner wouldn’t cool. The sheets were filthy(an understatement) should have been rewashed or thrown away before putting on bed. When we finally got the foreigner to understand our issues, they offered us a $10 refund. I laughed at him. He told us he didn’t have any available rooms to change us to for the night because of our issues. Within the next 2 hours we were offered a different room. Thankfully it was cleaner(somewhat) and cooler. We accepted it due to being up up almost 24 hours and much sleep was needed. When we checked out and I asked the manager about a refund of some sort, she laughed and stated that they gave us a different room and NO refund was needed. Will not recommend!

Pool was not available. Breakfast was waffles or pkg honeybuns, juice and coffee. Two wash clothes and towels per room. Terrible smell. Entire place needs remodeling. Sign said pool was being remodeled but sign appeared old. I will not recommend this place

The entire room and hotel smelled of cigarettes and BO. Knobs on AC in room were broken, so we had no idea how to adjust it. Bed uncomfortable, staff unfriendly. Definitely would not stay again.

Wondering mom

The first room we were given was filthy. The beds were dirty, the floors were dirty, and the sink was dirty. We took pictures and went to the front desk and he gave us a new room no problem. However, part of the reason we choose this hotel was they advertised a pool and hot tub, but when we got there they were closed for renovations. As a mom of three kids that would have been nice to have known before I booked the room and got there. Since there was going to be 5 of us staying in the room we asked for a roll away bed before we got there and they told me that they couldn't provide a roll away bed because of space but if we wanted to bring an air mattress that would be just fine. They didn't have full sized pillows they were square things but they were comfortable and the beds were comfortable.
