the curtains had mold on them, you can tell that the bed covers havent been washed, the “hot tub” is just a tub and it shoots water all over the walls, and the pillow sizes are like the size of a small decorative pillow.

During check in, I was informed that there was a $100 security deposit due, which was no problem. However, once the manager ran down the list of items that I could be charged for such as stains or tears on any of the towels or sheets. Any stain on the carpet “they weren’t there before”, or anything they considered to be damaged although they do not perform walk throughs with you at check in, although after receiving that news I requested one with the manager on duty as to not have any issues. The hotel is old and you can tell it. The carpet felt sticky and unclean despite being dark in color, the carpet being used as baseboards was not fully attached to the wall, the pool was so cloudy it looked like dirt bath water and I was surprised that anyone would let their kids get in it. There was lots of younger individuals hanging in the part lot or lobby area in the evening. I do not know if there were staying in the hotel. My room key stopped working before I was due to check out. I wound have expected a nicer hotel with their current deposit policy. I will not be staying there again and will let Scott Air Force base also know about my stay.

There was mold on ripped curtains by the air conditioner, also moldy, and the filters were dusty in it. The furniture needs to be replaced. The showerhead was rusty, which doesnt feel safe to clean yourself in. The carpet has not been vacuumed in way too long, as there was dog hair everywhere (I would guess a golden retriever, which, some would say is irrelevant) amongst the dead bugs and whatnot.The mirrors had something smeared all over them, not cleaning products. Just being there felt bad. There was also an aggressive growl and male sounding voice yelling at me through the wall because I made a little noise moving my things. I was already sleep deprived and tried to rest, but wasn't able to sleep there. I canceled my whole booking and still had to pay for taxes and fees. The one good thing was the customer service person who I called to cancel my booking. He was polite, despite not understanding what I was asking/saying. He attempted to explain what he could, which I appreciate. We had to move our things, including our cat, to another place, which kept me up until 5 AM to get settled. Not okay.

Plumbing issue at this property caused pipes to rattle through the night… every 3-5min the rattling sounded like someone knocking on our door. Kept us up all night and they could not find the problem until maintenance arrived the next day. I would not recommend staying at this place unless there is absolutely nothing else available in the area.

Nice budget hotel

Here's your honest review , I see a lot of bad reviews on here but can usually pinpoint the Karen reviews If your looking for a decent budget hotel this is it, good little buffet breakfast , decent small pool, hotel was dated but rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable, linens did have some stains but we're clean, air conditioner was extra cold as it was 95 out, hallways had a odor of marijuana but the room was fresh smelling , no complaints from us , felt comfortable and we also arrived 2 hrs early, front desk was able to get us in a room right away, sometimes people want a 300$ a night hotel for 90-115, not happening, for us this fits the budget and will stay here again over the next few years , was 1 min from o'fallon sports complex , stayed 3 nights , 8/10 for the price

Too many little things broken in our room, shower door didn’t close all the way. Service was stingy about their towels, asking for another set, they were washing all the towels in the hotel when I asked, but didn’t ask for my room number when they said they would deliver, and of course delivered towels to wrong room. We never got them. Pool had a slimy feel according to the kids. Sink had missing stopper to plug it up, so I couldn’t wash a uniform. TV channels did not align to what the guide said. Pillows were very tiny and sparse. Cleanliness was bare minimum when we arrived. Finally the fire alarm went off waking up the whole hotel before 7 am, and no one acknowledged or apologized.

The smell. I had been going to this property for many years and it has dramatically changed since my last visit. It now looks vacant and it smells as if it has mildew or some type of water damage.

The property desperately needs renovations. Carpets are horrible, shower is an embarrassment, my bedsheets and comforters had a lot of stains (like blood stains), TV was like from the early 2000s, paint peeling off the wall. Really a filthy/nasty hotel.

Walking distance from the ballpark!! Great price. IHOP was next door. Pool was small but did the job! Rooms were nice and clean. Hallway carpet on second floor had an odor (needs to be cleaned or changed).

The first night we stayed was absolutely ridiculous and miserable. The next day they did move me in to a different room and while that did eliminate some of our issues we still continued to deal with laziness of staff as well as dirty common areas. At one point I got stuck in the main bathroom across the way from the pool with no toilet paper. When we needed toilet paper replenished in our room, the front desk did not answer the phone at all. When we went to the front desk, the dude didn’t hear us half the time cause he was watching a movie on his phone with both of his air pods in. 1/4inch to 1/2 inch gaps under the door that went in to the room from the hallways created a noise issue. The bathroom doors didn’t lock in the rooms either. The original room we had the toilet paper holder was broken. There was a nail sticking out of the floor and through the carpet in the original room that we kept finding with our feet. I do want to point out that the lady I spoke with on my first morning when we switched rooms was fantastic. She was helpful and handled my disappointment well. But outside of that one lady, It was just the small things that added up. This hotel gives the brand an awful example. I know that there are other sleepinn hotels out there that are way better than this one. But this hotel was a complete waste of money. I would have been more comfortable camping in a tent. At least in a tent I would have expected
