In all honesty one of the best value stays I ever had. A little tired in the rooms/bathrooms. But excellent service with fans, bedding, heaters already available in the rooms. Pub next door was a little loud upto about 10:30pm ( I had an early start the next day) Breakfast needs a little more thought but was ok.

Great place to stay!
The hotel was everything we needed for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were very clean, fresh white bedding and towels. The hotel is next to a pub which was convenient for a few drinks with friends and a fantastic breakfast!

Staff were friendly, check in was fast. Unfortunately, upon arrival at the hotel I was greeted by an awful smell which remained when I got to my room. The bathroom was in need of a refurb and there was no tv remote. However, room was comfortable and quiet. Overall, think the hotel was priced too high for the quality.

Bit of paper given at check in with breakfast choices and time I intended to eat was a first, I eventually found staff in the morning who gave me my breakfast bag, another first, and I consumed it in the foyer area. The hotel is conveniently situated and whilst it does not have a restaurant there are a couple of decent pubs offering food within walking distance. There is ample parking at the hotel. The staff were ver ffriendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and had been recently redecorated. The breakfast options were limited and had to be ordered the night before. Breakfast was collected from Reception in the morning and eaten in a limited dining area next to reception. Overall the hotel had a tired feel to it and could do with a refurbishment. I felt that it did not offer value for money.

It's not the Ritz, but is clean, comfy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking and it's quiet, being set back from the main A6. The hotel is being gradually refurbished and it does need it as the decor is very dated. You can tell that it was previously a Premier Inn. It was reasonably priced for one night. I didn’t frequent the attached pub so can't comment on food quality.

Not at all bad!
The hotel was good but had renovation going on which I didn't know about but it was fine. The staff are great and there is a decent pub next door which does pretty good food. The room was big with a decent bed but they don't do a cooked breakfast but that is because it's not worth it for the number of rooms (understandable). Overall not at all bad!

Room itself was lovely. Uninformed about property renovation so unable to relax when checked in due to noise. Dust sheets all over corridors and workmen plastering and drilling etc. Room needed some tlc and door to bathroom rubbed the toilet. Money for room Vs quality gave us a bad taste after walking into a building site.
