Transportation from the Los Cabos Airport
The Los Cabos International Airport is one of the largest and busiest in Mexico. It is located on Highway 1, 25 miles from Cabo San Lucas and 8 miles from San Jose del Cabo. Many hotels and resorts in the two cities offer free airport shuttles for guests-if you are staying in the area, this is the easiest and most convenient way to travel from the airport. Shared airport shuttle vans are available for 150 pesos, and taxis cost approximately 600 pesos to Cabo San Lucas. If you take a taxi, agree on a price with the driver before you depart. The drive into San Jose del Cabo takes about 20 minutes, and the drive to Cabo San Lucas can take up to an hour.
