Ummmmmm yeah never again. From them threatening to kick my pregnant wife out of the hotel while I was at work, to NOT having breakfast when it was offered on website, to NOT being told the fitness room would be closed for planned renovations, and the microwave having burnt marks throughout, to them reminding us everyday of our checkout, felt like they are just trying to get rid of us. This was the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. I'll never come back to this again and I've stayed at many la quintas in the past. And don't get me started on the amount of lies they said. Just a few examples, they left notes to not extend our stay due to having more than 1 pet (they have a sign posted at the desk that says no more than 2 pets lmao), then they accused my pets for the hotel smelling like pee and poop and then the owner came to my room and said oh I don't smell anything anymore, to the weed that is circulating throughout the hotel is unbearable. trust there's so much more but I can't sit here typing for hours. Good luck and be careful with the beds, it feels like somebody before us may have broken it because we have a lot of spots that randomly dip.

Stayed here when we went down for the Illini game. Easy access of the expressway and a short drive to the stadium. Place was nice but they have a breakfast area that did not serve breakfast that morning which would have been nice.

The building looked like it was getting a facelift with new paint and a renovation of the breakfast room. This issue is we booked the room with the idea that it came with breakfast. The breakfast consisted of coffee and bagged muffins. When I asked the front desk about the lack of food they pointed at a sign taped to the plastic partition and said I was notified at check in. That is a little late to find out since I was locked in to the booking. No ability to refund anything. Disappointing.

Good for the price. Location near train crossing.

The room was a nice sized suite with a King bed. We enjoyed our stay. Coffee service in room was basic and not a stand out brand. Suite had a kitchenette. Nice people working there. Some remodeling but didnt effect our area. Unfortunately, there were people being loud in the hall at about 3:30am-4:00am and that interrupted my sleep.

Smell throughout

The first impression of the property is the very strong smell of w e e d. Funny, since there is a sign in the lobby that states no smoking. It was like a literal w e e d bomb went off in the hotel. Even the hallways smelled that way. I have never stayed at a LaQuinta that did not have a hot breakfast either. This one did not. Overall, not a good hotel for families.
