Perfect Getaway for Family and Pups

The best rental property ever!

We’ve stayed at many places over the years and this one is impossible to beat. The view is spectacular, Callie was so easy to book and communicate with, the house was spotless and had everything you could need. We had the best weekend at the house and already can’t wait to come back. If you’re coming to Carmel this is hands down the place to stay!

Great view nice house

The house is nice and comfortable. Great communication with the owners. The view is insane. Nothing better than to spend time outside with a glass of wine enjoying the view. Overall wonderful stay. Some things to note - downstairs is rented separately and you can see and hear people while you are out on the patio - not a big deal but we didn’t realize that the cottage mentioned is the lower level of the same house with separate entrance. Another thing to note is that the property is not a walkable to cafes etc, you have to drive. Though everything the area has to offer is very short drive away, either north to Monterey or south to Carmel Valley, Point Lobos State Park, Big Sur, and Carmel ocean beach. Would recommend for a special occasion.

Amazing Place and Wonderful Host

This place is worth every penny. It is beautiful with a fabulous view. Spacious, great kitchen (we cook a lot), wrap around deck. Also a great dining area for long dinners as well as - when warmer -- great places for dining on the deck. The area is beyond beautiful and host directed us to amazing hikes. She was amazingly helpful. Highly, highly recommended.

Fantastic! Wish we could have stayed longer

Lux comfort! Our host, Callie, was FANTASTIC! Great communication prior, a warm and informative welcome to the property, and quick response when we needed local info. The house and views are stunning. The vibe is relaxed but the property is super clean and well appointed with the quality of everything from wine glasses and cutlery to linens as good or better than home. We appreciated kind touches like good quality basic bath products being provided, too. This feels like a place that the owners love and enjoy themselves rather than a turnkey “just the basics” place — they are very considerate of the guest experience. I can absolutely recommend this place and would love to return!

14th birthday family getaway

Loved the beautiful home with a view to die for! Went with our family of 5 (4 adults and a teen) and our dog. Home is well suited for our sized group and very dog friendly. Very comfortable and Callie was awesome checking us in and checking up on us. Loved the hospitality and would highly recommend!

Girls running trip

We came to the area for the Monterey Bay half marathon. The house is amazing. Lots of room, great location and outstanding views. Host was one of the best! Very responsive before and during our stay - gave us great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try. Really made the trip even better! Would love to stay here again!

Fantastic house

The photos do not do justice to how amazing this house is. Views from every room, starts to be seen at night, a wrap around desk and every amenity you can image or need in the house. Every member of our party loved it. Conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. It was worth the expense

Beyond perfect stay in Carmel CA!

We had a wonderful trip to Carmel - Point Lobos trails, Food and Wine Tour, Bike Tour, Lunch at The Bench at Pebble Beach, shopping, dining, and a great massage at Happy Feet III! But, the highlight of the trip had to be returning to our VRBO at the end of each day! This house was absolutely perfect - everything from access, location, amenities, and a very helpful and communicative host! The pictures don't do it justice - sweeping views of mountains and ocean with floor to ceiling windows, and wrap-around deck to watch the sky change colors in the morning and evening! The space was perfect for our group, and it really did make the trip. Thank you to Callie for making us feel so welcome, for all your great recommendations, and for being so available! We sure hope to get back to this jewel of a home!

Best vacation house yet!

This is the best rental vacation home our family has stayed in. Super clean, gorgeous view, stocked with everything you need. Callie was a very welcoming and attentive host. Can’t recommend the stay enough.

Breathtaking stay

Callie and Susan were amazing hosts. They were communicative and inviting. We were having our wedding the area and booked this house to stay and to host some small get togethers throughout the weekend. Callie and Susan were so inviting and graciously let us use their house. They are extremely dog friendly, and this house has the most epic views. It was the perfect location to make our weekend extra special! The location is perfect and close to everything!

An absolute gem!

We rented the main house for Car Week 2024 and could not have been more pleased. Location was great, amenities and the overall condition of the house was immaculate. We just wish we weren't so committed to all the Car Week activities as we hoped to hang out at the house more. The views are amazing and the wrap around deck is a great place to have your morning coffee. Only one recommendation would be to have luggage racks in the closets for visitors. Thank you to Callie and Susan for a spectacular stay!

Phenomenal!

We had a group of 3 couples staying and the beds were perfectly comfortable for all of us and we loved the bathroom setup with each room. Kitchen had everything we needed for evening dining. I would highly recommend this rental. And the personal touches made us feel welcome!!

Beautiful Property - Wonderful Host

This property is amazing! Even better than pictured and in a great location. I stayed with my friend, daughter and son-in-law and we all had lots of space to work/play. The bed I slept in was heavenly. Everything was clean and labeled well. We had everything we needed, and then some. Callie was so friendly and helpful—a great host. She gave us a bottle of wine, a new wine opener for the home and instructions on a special hike. I would love to stay here again.

Paradise in a Paradise!

Absolutely perfect property. Coded entry changed with each rental. Met the manager at check-in, and great communication throughout the stay. Warning: Full flight of stairs to living area. One master has smaller sets of stairs to room and bath. Three bedrooms (2 masters) accommodated 3 couples perfectly. Wrap-around balcony shows magnificent views. Stocked kitchen. Easy in/out of highway 1, Downtown Carmel and Monterey. Quiet neighborhood. Gated dog run along the side of the house with lots of trees/bushes for sniffing. Dandy loved his stay. We look forward to coming again.

Beautiful coastal views in a comfortable space

Enjoyed the patio views with two couples and two older teens. Short drive to hiking, restaurants, wine tasting and DT Carmel. Well equipped kitchen with some perks of coffee, filters, olive oil, etc. so cooking was a bit easier. Grill was very clean. Bedding was crisp and comfy. All around a very pleasant place to call home on vacation. Very much as advertised. We hope to visit again soon!
