Out of date, old, worst hide-a-bed I've ever seen. Nobody slept. Our room had a ceiling fan which was cool but it made a lot of noise. Breakfast was good. Pool out of service.

Great value and conveniently located

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Marion, IL. The hotel is conveniently located and is only minutes away from the lovely historic downtown and Civic Center. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. Check-in and check-out were easy and hassell-free. The complimentary breakfast was hot and delicious, well-presented, and constantly monitored for cleanliness and needed refills. We loved having chocolate chip cookies available for a snack after our evening out in town. We will definitely stay here next time we visit the city.

The bed was really uncomfortable, the room had a funky smell, and while walking to the breakfast room, I saw a cockroach climbing on the wall. The staff was super nice though.

Not group friendly

We have stayed in this hotel many times as it is a central meeting place for family get togethers. Since the hotel does not have a conference/meeting room, we often get together in the breakfast area which gets loud with everyone talking. This time we were told it was too loud and not meant for a visiting area. This hotel is fine for overnight stays, but for get togethers, it's not the best. We will be moving to a different hotel that accommodates groups better.
