"The Sunset Motel was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The owner and the motel have a lot of heart. My friends and I stayed in a deluxe queen room which had plenty of space for the four of us. There was a mini fridge, microwave and Keurig style coffee machine. The ice machine was just across the parking lot. Response was quick when we needed extra towels and a new battery in the smoke detector. Andy, the owner, pointed out the common area that included picnic tables, a hammock, a fire pit and a grill. Some recent work had taken place so some areas were staked off to give the grass a chance to mature but it was nice, peaceful and still usable. Downtown Brevard is a short walk from the motel and full of shops and dining. A 30-40 minute drive and you can be in Asheville or Hendersonville or up on the Blue Ridge Parkway."

"The house was just as advertised and had a nice backyard for our dog. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the outside deck was great for the beautiful weather we had. Close to central Brevard and hiking. Would stay again. "
