KEEP LOOKING

Brittany was very nice. But that was the only positive part from start to finish. There was not one single thing that was true to the advertised listing. If you are interested in basically roughing it or essentially camping but on a shell of a boat, then this is for you. However, if you’d like ANY comfort or convenience, this is NOT for you. Please read other reviews and do some background checking! Save yourself!

Fun adventure!

We arrived by our own boat and loved every minute! Perfect for teens who like a little adventure. The most beautiful sunset and star gazing spot in Cortez/AMI! Brittany was awesome and accommodating with frequent changes. We had dolphins and manatees saying hi. Caught a small grouper off the boat!

"The Scam" - not "The Spot"

This property is a scam from start to finish. Anyone staying here should do a little research on Facebook or the local news. Boats have been underwater - The Host does not own these properties. These properties are not registered. These properties and the HOST are under investigation by Federal, CG and local authorities. If you book, you don't get the boat (necessarily) that you paid for - it is at the discretion of the Host. There is extra cost for the generator (you find out once you are stranded on the boat). Boats pictures do not match what you get in reality. There is no running water - the bathroom is a 5 gallon bucket that gets dumped back in the bay (there are no holding tanks). The location of the boats on VRBO is misleading and does not match the location of the actual boats. There is a liability document to sign before you get on the boat that you don't see until after you pay and before you can step foot on the boats... NO MONEY BACK and all the warnings and dangers. The communication with the host is terrible and only through VRBO messenger... meaning people there is no office, there is no person to talk to, you can only communicate through messenger (which half the time feels like an ai robot). She will not call you and will not help you. You will get a ticket if you park in the Marina overnight. There are tons of Claims with the local police due to all the reasons mentioned above. This women is stealing money and not reimbursing it - do some research people!

The property owner was nice but everything she had listed about the property was true until arrival, and she then told us these sail boats are repurposed sailboats that sank which is a unique experience, and it was quite cozy but could have been a bit cleaner our cabin table almost fell on us while we were munching on pizza and the ac was not cold. Other wise it was an adventurous experience me and my friends will never forget as we were jumping off the side of her biggest sail boat while dolphins were around us!
