Lovely home, beautiful setting
This is a great home for enjoying the river and for access to the McKenzie Forest. I would highly recommend springing the extra cash for washer/dryer use, which also grants access to the very nice screened porch with its table and two twin beds. Also, you may consider bringing house slippers or some socks, as the owners do not want shoes worn in the house. Overall, a great stay and would definitely return.

Relaxing and convenient to hiking
This property was even lovelier than described, inside and out. My friends and I enjoyed reading and drinking our morning coffee out on the deck overlooking the river. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was sparkling clean. The king bed was a tad hard for my preferences but that could be my aging joints. Wifi was great, cell service was sparse, but we were there to vacation anyway. It was a short drive to beautiful hikes (Blue Pool, Sahale & Koosah Falls), hot springs, and delicious food at the MacKenzie Bridge Station Pub. We'd like to come back some day.

Just Wonderful
Location was exactly what we wanted - right on the river. It’s gorgeous here and very conveniently located. McKenzie Bridge is a special place and this property was fabulous. We visited the area to experience the nature, and we were not disappointed. We’ll be back

Excellent stay!
We would’ve loved to have the hot tub available. It overlooks the river in such a neat setting and every time we looked out tear the back deck, the hot tube was a constant reminder. We also wish there was a bathroom to use without invading someone’s bedroom.

The location was perfect
Location was just right. Covered bridge right close by, and the view of the river from the deck was ideal. Even the enclosed sleeping porch worked out for card games.. and an extra sleep spot. Kitchen was well equipped. Very comfortable gathering areas. Well kept and many utensils in the kitchen. Parking worked out ok as we ended up have an extra vehicle, but all fit well. Only comment is that they need to upgrade the quality of the TP. way too thin

Awesome Cabin on the river
the roar of the river was incredible intoxicating. we loved every minute of it. Would have liked to have known that the laundry room was locked along with the closet space. No iron was an issue as we were there for UO graduation. List the amentities on VRBO, like, no kleenex, limited paper towels, no large TV to watch, no hot tub access, no river access due to swift rapids, limited access to groceries, etc...It is a wonderful place if you bring everything on earth for your weekend. Otherwise, inquire about everything before you go. Very rustic.

Memorial day weekend with friends at the Belknap House
We enjoyed our stay at the Belknap house. Jonathan was quick with answering all the questions we had before our trip, the house was clean, well maintained and is situated right on the river side with exceptional views. I would definitely like to come back and stay here again in the future.

Perfect setting for a quiet and restful few days. Appreciated the variety of board games, sound of river, comfort of beds, and ability to have individual space. Community offered nearby grocery store, restaurants, golf course. Johnathan recommended Sahalie Falls. Beautiful. Thank you.

Spacious, well appointed, unbelievable location
Absolutely perfect rental for a group of six - very well equipped kitchen, three good bedrooms with individual bathrooms, and really special location right on the river. We stayed in very wet weather after a wet month, and the entrance was quite muddy, but everything else perfect.
