This property has the best staff I’ve ever interacted with….they make it feel like a Bed & Breakfast. I overheard conversations they had amongst themselves and you can tell that the culture they have created is one of family and you can feel that when you stay on this property. We will most certainly stay again….although we will upgrade to a larger room lol! Small room but worth the sacrifice….this property makes you feel at home.

Aurora is a great boutique hotel in Avalon, on beautiful Catalina Island. I was reminded of hotels in European cities. They provided a very nice continental breakfast and on our Friday night visit a wine and cheese happy hour in the lobby. It was great.

If you get the cheapest option in a last minute vacation, you are usually not getting a good room. This was the case. If you can afford the upgrade and a view, I highly recommend it. Rooftop was 5 ⭐️. Location was close to downtown and walkable from the dock. Clean and everything worked properly.

It’s a bit of a hike up the hill but the AC was great and the staff was personable and helpful and we could borrow beach towels everyday. The breakfast was basic but nice enough. On the weekend they had Mimosas. Satisfied with everything overall!

All the staff was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean. Ocean view was beautiful! Room was very small but really all I needed! Breakfast was yummy! Great location within walking distance to the zipline, shopping and restaurants.
