Our room did not have a Folder of activities, hotel services, restaurants in and around Morris. Our non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. The window rattled. No clock. The TV wasn't set up for ease of use.

Convenient but disappointed room was never service

The staff were friendly, and there's a safe grassy area to aire your dog. However, I'm totally disappointed that my room was never serviced or freshened with a 3 night stay. That was not advertised or acknowledged until after I checked in and saw the sign on the back of my room door. Its one thing to be eco friendly, its another to provide NO service.

Disappointing stay

Dissatisfied with the property. First room had a do not disturb sign and had not been cleaned. Second room the TV did not work. 3rd room we moved to had another do not disturb sign and was not ready. 4th room had been prepared however it smelled very mildewy. Bathroom door handle was loose. Sink had no stopper. Hair dryer did not work. The employee worked diligently to get us into a cleaned room but we are very disappointed in the quality of upkeep and maintenance.

The room was cold upon arrival, window was loose in frame, weird bbq sauce or "something" on ceiling above both couch and bed. Check out time is 1100, however someone opened the door to enter our room at 1045, to then close the door quickly, without even knocking, causing us to hurry and pack. 4 hours after check out, I realized I forgot our swimsuits, called back and was told there were no swimsuits turned in from housekeeping and nothing was in the lost and found. I know for a fact they were hanging in the bathroom and must have been "claimed" without following policy

The rooms look absolutely nothing like the stock photos. Both our rooms were narrow and very dim. We checked in, threw our stuff on the beds, then left for dinner. When we got back, we realized the rooms were so dark with all the lights on that I could not read the book I'd brought with me. The comforters felt greasy. The dust-filled heater filled the room with a burned smell. We complained and checked out at 7:30pm. The manager said "I can't refund your money because you set it up through Expedia" which was a lie. Expedia (who called Super 8 again, on my behalf) explained that they could not provide a refund because we'd paid the hotel directly. If you think the phrase "by Wyndham" implies there is a measure of quality, you will be disappointed.
