We've stayed here multiple times and thoroughly enjoy it every time. The historical building has such a wonderful ambience. The staff is always courteous and accommodating. Our room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. You can dine in the hotel or walk to nearby restaurants.

Great place to stay. Very elequent old 1890 hotel, renovated of course, that is very beautiful. Staff was excellent. Restaurant was exceptional, best steaks in a while.

We just keep coming back!

This was our third time visiting The Windsor Hotel. It's a wonderful, ornately furnished old building with so much to see. Unfortunately, we were there for a doctor's appointment nearby the next morning. It was gloomy, so we stayed and ate dinner at the hotel. Great food and service. Lovely room with 2 queen beds, but too much traffic outside. A little noisy and I am a very light sleeper. Other than that, it was great!

Family stay.

Hotel was within walking distance to a great coffee place-Horne Pecans. And the nearby Mexican restaurant was tasty. The only thing was we got there about 20-25 min early for check in and they made us wait until exactly 300 to check in. Not whining, just staring a fact.

Beautiful building with potential, poorly managed

The property is very nice and historic, but it looks, pretty clearly, like since the hotel was originally refurbished, no money or resources have been invested to up keep it. The chair in my room was old, stained, and looked like it belongs in a college student’s room. The shower curtain was molded, the ice bin in my room was molded, the fan was dusty. Sure, it’s an historic property, but these are basic maintenance items and have nothing to do with historic preservation. All of the front-facing employees I met were all super friendly and happy to help. Management, by appearance, has no interest in upkeep.
