1st room we were given was "cleared" clean but upon entering room we found broken cracker on floor, used coffee cup on bathroon sink, very unclean toilet ...etc. So called down they came up gave us new room. Lost a full balcony due to this for a simple slider door. 2nd room we had to borrow broom from housekeeper to sweep floor. Then we found used razor in bathroom cabinet. Other than those issues , the property is very nice & staff was very friendly & helpful. Beautiful pool !! No vending machines on property.

Everything was outstanding. I really enjoyed the pool and enjoyed the quietness of it. There wasn't any loud music or anything other than beautiful peace. The room was awesome and the staff was delightful. I wish parking was a little less expensive but it was good to know my car was safe and I had in and out access. would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again in the future.

Overpriced limited service luxury
This hotel has been open less than a year and its inexperience shows. The hotel is well located near Cityplace. Nice pool. The rooms are contemporary and comfortable. We had what was described as a “premium penthouse King” and I would not recommend paying up for it (+$100) as there was no discernible benefit. The hotel provides a minimal - basically bread, coffee and juice for breakfast which is ridiculous considering the price of the hotel. The property is still under development so there is no restaurant, no room service and no bar. They do have some cocktails on the weekend. There is only servicing of the room 1x per week. There is nothing specifically wrong with the hotel - but it is wildly overpriced for what you get.

The facility is brand new and very clean. Lots of walkable options for food and drink. Staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. I've seen some reviews complaining about the lack of blackout curtains but it didn't bother me at all. I'd definitely stay here again.

Spent a couple days in West Palm before a cruise. The AKA’s location was within walking distance of THE SQUARE, where there’s lots of restaurants and shopping. Also a short walk to the water’s edge. Hotel (and the city as a whole) very clean and well maintained.

Fantastic stay at AKA
I was that the AKA for four nights for business (and a bit of vacation!) in mid-February. The room and amenities were fantastic and I loved having a balcony. The breakfast was great and it was nice having it on the 4th floor where there’s a lot of outdoor space to enjoy. It’s in a good location .. near the Square and an easy Uber or a 25 minute walk to the island.
