In comparison to the new Hyatt across the street, I would say this hotel is just mediocre. They were the same price but I hadn’t stayed at this hotel yet so I took a chance. It wasn’t terrible by any means but my room was not very clean and seemed outdated. The shower had poor water pressure and a lot of the wood furniture was scratched and dinged which made it feel very outdated. The bed was not very comfortable. There is only valet parking which is 59.00 per day. I would not stay again.

1. Parking attendants were not good. We called for our car from the room. We got downstairs 10 minutes later and the attendant still had not left to get the car. Then, once he did bring the car up, he was driving my car very recklessly, squealing tires and racing up the ramp.
The Hyatt at Olive 8 is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in while vacationing. Almost everything in and around the hotel and room was top notch. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, there was enjoyable food at both dining areas located inside the hotel, the pool and hot tub areas were clean, and the elevators available when needed. The only flaw I would note is that the bathroom door is a barn door style that does not adequately seal off the bathroom from the suite area. I prefer a bit more modesty. Overall, this is a classy, stylish place to stay with many dining options and the convention center within walking distance.

Love the view
We loved our stay at the Hyatt at Olive 8! Hotel staff was really friendly and attentive. The hotel is very clean and has great amenities. It is very close to a lot of the attractions so we were able to mostly walk and take a few short Uber trips everywhere. It is also very close to the monorail station that takes you to the Space Needle and other attractions. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to Seattle!!!
The biggest thing is the location is perfect! It’s about a ten minute walk to pike place market and about 8 minutes away from the link light rail and the monorail. Also the staff is super kind and nice plus the rooms were very cozy and clean.
Close to convention center
Great pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room. Right in the center of everything. Did not like Tidal, the restaurant in the lobby.
The staff were great! Very friendly. We had no issues with our stay but the two things I would say weren’t the best were the beds (rather hard) and the only parking was through the valet and was a bit expensive. The amenities were clean and the location perfect for us.
