Great inexepensive stay in a prime area - great supportive staff and easy valet parking.

The hotel is old, but well maintained. The room was small, but comfortable--great bed. The only issue with the room was no bathroom counter space at all. The biggest problem with the hotel was there was no way to get to the elevators without going up or down a half- flight of stairs. With mobility issues, that was problematic. The staff was great about helping me with bags, etc., but the fact remains, it's not ADA compliant.
This hotel should have higher rating. Check-in was smooth. Staff was courteous and efficient. Yes rooms are smaller but room prices for location are incredible value. Definitely coming back again.
Great place near downtown ☕️
Not ADA. Very thin walls! You can hear neighbors. One staff person was sassy & not in a good way. But others were actually very polite & helpful. Jan-thank you for arranging our ride to airport. Clean room & sheets.
Air conditioner didn't work, inoperable windows. Staff said they couldn't do anything for me.
Interesting history.
Bed is comfortable and location perfect as we went to see the Mariners. Room was a little too warm
Staff and valet were so helpful and polite!! I’d stay here again!
We stayed here 8 years ago and the property was amazing. It has really went down hill with the condition of the rooms and cleanliness. The bathroom sink was pulling from the wall, there was nicotine pouches on the wall and the room could have used a better vacuuming.
The rate for this hotel was decent, however, not worth the issues we encountered. First off, the parking situation is horrible. They charge $45 USD a night and there aren’t many options around, so it feels mandatory. After checking in, there was a wait for the valet because they only had one person running back and forth. The front desk during check in was not very friendly at all. When we finally got our room, we noticed a stale smell. Looking past it, we put our luggage down and tried to get comfortable. The bathroom was very small and there was paint all over the handles/light fixtures/trimming. The bed sheets were inside out and had numerous holes in them. The clean towels had strands of hair in them which also made us uncomfortable. One of the reasons we booked here was because of the AC which was conveniently not working. It was 91 degrees and after our long drive, we really just wanted to cool down. When reading more in-depth reviews, we noticed that this has been going on for months. We asked for a fan which was also unavailable. The check out staff the next morning were friendly and professional. Overall, we regret booking here and will be looking at other options next time.
Their parking was not available, but we ended up paying cheaper at the parking lot next door. The lobby is small in size. The walls between the rooms are EXTREMELY thin and you can hear everything going on next door. For the higher price, it's not worth it.

Dear Candice, thank you for your feedback. Indeed, the hotel has a very interesting story dating back to 1928 when the doors opened as the Hungerford hotel with room rates starting at 2.00. The city of Seattle is very rich in history.
