This is a family-friendly hotel with wonderful amenities. However, our room was too warm, and we were not able to change the thermostat. We called the front desk, but the staff member was not able to assist us.

We loved the Drury hotel. The staff were all outstanding! The hotel was beautiful and spacious and rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was ok- not amazing, not bad, but we were grateful for it being included! The reason for a 4 star instead of 5 is just for noise. The walls seem to be incredibly thin and the adjoining doors make it especially bad when the neighbors are loud late at night. We also had a loud TV on the opposite side. The worst was a barking dog for 4 hours straight 6-10am about 3 doors down. The front desk said maybe someone went to work and left their dog there. That does make me wonder about the clientele. Is it an extended stay place? Next time I would ask for a non-pet floor if there is such a thing, and I would possibly call about the loud neighbors. Again, the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. We would stay here again but ask about who is around us- especially barking dogs.

We have stayed at the Drury twice in the past several months and we plan to stay here whenever we are in the Richmond VA area. Unless, of course they raised their prices or lower their service level, then we would look elsewhere. As long as they keep it the fair deal it is now we will continue to stay there.
