This property has no back up power supply for emergency and no exit sign, not compensated power outage

The room was freezing when I got into it. It took a long time to heat up. The door to my room did not close all the way without slamming it

Overall pretty good and very clean. The hotel is non-smoking but people next door to us were smoking so we had to be moved since the smell was everywhere in our room. The room we were moved to had no cable and there was just static on TV. The front desk said they had no more rooms we could be moved to.

The sink didn’t drain. Then we went to a second room and that sink didn’t drain neither

Like the Panera bread on ground leve. The shower pressure was bad

Old and not as kept up as it could be. Could use some updates

Old technology! My keys didn’t work and the door was hard to open. Eventually the front desk told me that the keys become de magnetized if they are near your phone. Tvs were difficult to use. Some staff at the front desk were very cold. Would not stay there again.

The staff was not friendly. They didn’t care to know how we enjoyed our time.

Booking was sloppy and inaccurate.day before arrival I stopped to again assure rooms were booked properly and there were 3 rooms booked and not 2. After numerous phone calls during prior2 months to assure accuracy I was shocked at whole process with booking via Orbitz and hotel.

Convenient location to visit the universities in Oakland, and the staff are kind and friendly. However, some trash were left when I first enter the room that I stayed.

Renovated hotel. Very good location, walking distance to UPMc. Panera in the lobby very convenient

Hotel was very run down. Door to room was constantly stuck, bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed and there was a sign in the bathroom alerting us that if you didn’t close the bathroom door, that the steam would set off the fire alarm. Then the heat in the room was either too hot ( even set at 61) or too cold. Hotel needs a major overhaul and staff acted like they could care less. I paid $100 a night which was $70 too much for this place. Plus the parking lot is shared with a Panera bread so parking was not guaranteed. Most times the lot was full.

Outdated for this price. No any other amenity such as business center, etc.
