Third time stay this year and love the hotel. It’s on the boardwalk and close to good restaurants.
Close to boardwalk. Not crowded. Easy in and out of hotel.
We got to the property around 5 pm. Checked in and went to our hotel which was the one closer to the beach. As soon as we walked in it smelled horrible. Everything looked dirty. The hallway to the room had carpeting that looked 20 years old. We got into the room and the bathroom adjacent to the front door was open and a horrible stench was coming from there. This room looked nothing like the photos. The walls were old looking, ceilings had rough look to it. Our screen door was ripped going to the balcony. The curtain was dusty and looked like an antique. The patio sliding door had handprints and marks all over. The lights are all rusted. The grout in the bathroom is black from not properly up-keeping them. Old sink with rust everywhere. This place was dirty. Some of Our lights in the room went out 3 times. The third time nobody even showed up to fix it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this CRAPPY HOTEL. They have the nerve to charge what they charge but cannot upgrade and clean their place? Shame on them.

We recently stayed here for 5 nights. This was my first and last time staying here. CONS: The property is VERY dated and could used some capital investment for improvements. We stayed in the boardwalk building in room 504. When we arrived the older woman at the front desk said that someone would call us when our room was ready…that never happened. When we arrived to our floor there was a black rolling trash bin outside of the elevator next to our room that smelled rancid. The light above our shower and on our balcony were out. The door handle to the balcony was broken making it hard to open, close and lock the door. The electrical outlet next to the bed was only half working and part of it was broken off exposing a little hole in the wall. The sheets and towels were dingy with stains and there were always long black hairs on the sheets. There was a little bit of mold on the ceiling trim. There was a dead ant on the wall all week above our trash can. The AC is VERY loud! When you walked outside there was always people smoking cigarettes outside of the boardwalk building entrance. PROS: The pool bar is the only saving grace for this property. The food and drinks were great! The maid did come to clean the room everyday. Overall based on the issues in our room you can tell no one checks the rooms to see if everything is in working order for new guests which is just very poor hospitality.
The hotel is very nice and convenient if you are traveling with kids. The only downside was the hotel pool could of had been a little more clean, also the rooms, but other than that is not a bad hotel to stay.
