Pretty average property. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Overall everything was fine they just need to work on some new sheets or clean it well we found lots of hair on the pillows and blankets

Great ocean view and beach
Love the location and the ocean view. Just one big thing. The ocean side rooms have no Air-conditioning. One of the 2 days we were there.. Outside was crazy humid and foggy to the point the screens in the open windows were dripping with water. Everything inside was damp. Having ac in those rooms would help a ton controlling the moisture issue. I get most of the time the ocean air is enough for cooling but man on those hot fog most days you really need ac.

Perfect location, nice rooms, great facilities. A few things we wish we knew to bring like shampoo or coffee. There is a coffee maker but nothing to brew. Also the channels on tv or not in hd quality so that was unfortunate since we needed to watch an important game. The ocean can get pretty loud so bring earplugs.

We visited just for one night and wanted to sleep with the sound of the ocean in our ears, at our feet. Top Mast delivered! It is not a super fancy place but exactly what we wanted, sipping our coffee on the porch, watching seals in the harbor. Staff is very friendly and very responsive. I imagine in summer it may be louder or busier but our October visit was peaceful. Will return! Thank you

This was a great place for a beach front birthday day getaway for our youngest child. Given we had to cancel our family vacation due to COVID. This local spot was so relaxing and we enjoyed our family time. We hope we will come back before the summer is over. I think we might make it a summer getaway every year if we can. The facility around was nice. The convenience of most things helped out. We didn't feel like we had to leave

Thank you for your review and we are pleased you enjoyed the location and views! Just to explain the A/C situation a little, we do not have A/C in our beachfront rooms for a few reasons, one being that a majority of our long time returning guests have requested we keep it this way as they do not want to sit on their deck or balcony and hear the hum of their neighbor’s A/C compressor, but rather they want to hear the ocean and enjoy the peace and quiet of the beach. We have even installed specialty locks on the sliding glass doors so they can be locked in a “partially-open” position, so our guests can feel safe with a locked door, but still be able to hear the waves at night and have the cross ventilation of the sea breeze passing through the room as they sleep. Hopefully you were able to utilize this feature, the directions for the specialty locks are located in the guest informational binders in each room. We have also looked at alternative locations for the compressor units for A/C systems for the beachfront rooms, but on the street side of the buildings there is just not enough clearance. These are the main reasons why there is no A/C in our beachfront buildings, however we do understand it is a nice luxury and/or necessity for many, so we do offer A/C in our garden view rooms, 2 bedroom cottages, 1 bedroom beach house, 3 bedroom beach house and 4 bedroom shore houses, in order to accommodate those guests that it is important to. We also provide a table fan in each room and if this is not enough a guest can always request an additional fan at the front deck. Please come again! Thank you!

Thank you for the review! Although we do not provide the coffee and shampoo and conditioner in the rooms themselves we do have all of those items available at the office free if charge. We will be including better signage in the room to make our guests aware of this fact. We did just recently install smart TVs in all of the rooms, and I’m sorry that the image quality was not to your liking for the game. We hope to see you again at the Top Mast!
