A refund was process and is pending expedia refund after someone attempted to enter my room from the roof! A police report was filed and there s an open investigation into the hotel. My attorney will likely contact Expedia as well. Luckily I am not a hard sleeper, this person waited until they assumed my 8 year old son and I was sleeping. This charge with Expedia was also disputed with my bank!

Nice hotel, front staff attitude lowers appeal
The hotel was clean and I felt very safe. The front desk clerks were not particularly friendly. They weren’t rude, but made me feel as if I was interrupting them when I approached to check in. Same attitude the next morning when checking out.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this hotel was so subpar I felt I needed to put this on a review. First off the hotel is very low level, it’s almost as if they tried turning an old rundown apartment building into a hotel. The building needs updating as it is nowhere near a 4 star hotel. My entire stay there was no hot water when I showered. I called and reported it and the excuse that was given to me was that a large party bus had came in during the time that I was taking a shower. What doesn’t make sense is that on the other nights the water was not hot either which would debunk the large party bus theory. I had an upgraded king room, and it was almost as if you could hear every conversation/noise outside throughout all times of the night. Also, the phone in the room did not work so if you needed something you had the call from your cell phone. Towels didn’t smell fresh and weee very rough and small. Shower wasn’t clean. Toilet kept clogging. In addition, the La Quinta hotel that is next-door had blaring spot lights that shined in through the windows all night long. Even though I pulled the curtains completely shut, it still was so bright that it came through and lit up the room from the top of the curtains. I would never return to this hotel.

Delightful hotel
This is a charming old hotel. The room I stayed in was slightly worn (base boards could use fresh paint) but it was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would totally stay there again!
