The keyless entry was very unique and convenient.. I didn’t like they painted the wheelchair ramp during my stay and made it difficult with my toddler’s stroller. And they ran out of clean face cloths to provide

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights, and we had a fantastic stay. First highlight was the air conditioning, which was nice and cold and came with a handy remote control. Our room had one king bed, which was super comfortable and seemed very clean. The room has a closet with a few hangers, a small fridge, a safe, an iron/ironing board, a hair dryer, basic toiletries, a Roku TV, and free Wi-Fi, all of which were functional and greatly appreciated. I didn’t interact much with staff, as it is very laissez-faire; you just walk into the building and put your code in the door to access your room. In that sense it has a more informal vibe. Property has a pool, and pretty seating area, a fun bar, and is very conveniently located. If you are looking for easy access to the beach (5-10min walk), or fun bars and restaurants (some right across the street), this is the place for you. One thing to keep in mind is that room service doesn’t come in to clean or replace linens unless you request it. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it is something to keep in mind as your floor gets increasingly sandy from post-beach showers throughout your stay. I did ask for new bed sheets one morning via the Sonder app, and they were delivered very swiftly. I loved my stay at Sonder the Deco, and I highly recommend this for those seeking a safe, reliable, low-key, and conveniently located stay in South Beach.

The sonder was a great budget option for our last minute trip to Miami. We found the photos of the pool a bit misleading as you’re at a major intersection across from the precinct and it seems as anyone could walk in and hang in the common areas and pool. Our room was decorated well and clean. The shower was definitely fit for a more petite person! The hotel room was spacious enough for sleeping and relaxing. Unfortunately it stunk of cigarettes and I reached out twice to Sonder only for them to offer a room transfer the night before our last day during dinner time. By then, everything reeked and we flew home stinking like ash :(. The area is a convenient walk to the main strip for tourist spots on the beach and the public beach access. We were walking distance to the beach club we used from Resort Pass and a cute cafe for breakfast each morning.

Our first time staying at the Sonder and we had the best experience! We went to Miami for our honeymoon in October and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. We were in a central location with walking distance to everything we wanted to see/do, the staff was super friendly and gave us lots of ideas on where to go, what to see and even taught us about the Cuban culture! Also have to brag on the valet group, they were awesome!! Such a great place, we will definitely be staying at the Sonder during future trips!
