During our stay, our car and several others was broken into. While the owner took our insurance information and said she would help us, when cleaning up the broken glass, none of the hotel staff helped us. When my wife went back to ask the owner for help, a vacuum or a broom. The owner told my wife to "Go away! I have done everything I can do!". When I confronted her, she said my wife was rude. This break in was a professional job, no one heard anything, and the thieves grabbed valuables. The owner admitted that incidents had happened before, and that the hotel HAD NO SECURITY CAMERAS! This place is not safe, DO NOT STAY HERE!

The gal at checking ignored me standing right in front of her for 10 minutes. She never said hello or that she would be with me soon. I had booked it on line with a pet and she seemed confused about what to do. She said someone would talk to me about it later. Many rooms had dogs so not sure what she meant. She may need additional training and taught to be friendly and professional. It’s a cute place to stay right there on the river. Very close to Monument Valley and Valley of the Gods. Only downstairs allows dogs. Beds are comfortable.

As a solo traveler, didn’t feel as safe as I would have liked. The door barely locked and the dead bolt was removed. Other than that, I really liked the room, and the view of the San Juan River. The staff was very pleasant.

Gorgeous area, and nice being on the river. However, had issues getting the door to lock from insided (resolved after talking to maintentance), and the sink leaked - water was all over the floor after using the sink.
