The building is a bit dated. The rooms are clean spacious and remodeled. The staff is super nice and friendly. Parking there overnight is a bit scary but had no issues. on the positive side, the parking is well lit with security cameras around. Based on my personal experience, I will definitely stay there next month when i go back to LA.

Noise, noise, noise! The hotel sits along a noisy street with many loud cars going by all night. Earplugs are a definite must here. Otherwise, the hotel itself is fine. The rooms are clean and the staff is good. Also, there are no amenities (i.e; swimming pool) at this hotel.

Last minute change
Very hard to find - GPS had us across the street. The area was kind of sketchy. You wouldn't go walking here at night. The rooms were big but noisy. No food or restaurant. The staff was ok and on last minute checking worked OK for us. I would do this hotel again if it is last minute. Not if I was planning.

Newly renovated great value
Old building, but nicely renovated and up-to-date. Complete with kitchenette, desk area, hard floors, tiled bath, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and hair conditioner dispensing units, good towels and linens. Close to LAX. Can catch airport bus down the street at the Westin.
