I did not have a car. Wasn’t a problem. Brought a noise machine for sleep. Not a problem. Plus the bar next door closes at 930 so non issue anyway. A lot of homeless in area but that’s .anywear in LA & so cal. No issues really. There’s a fan if you get hit & windows easy to open & close. I had fun & would stay there again. You’re at either pier no more than 1.5 miles in either direction. The canals aren’t particularly far away either. There’s a cvs about 2 blocks up too for any needs.

Clean, nice area, loud at night but you are in the beach and there are restaurants and bars nearby. Hotel provided a fan that drowned out all of the noise at night.

Enter the building you notice the smell. The room photos are not accurate and the place does have mold. Third party should be held accountable for promoting this property on their site after numerous complaints of mold.
Please note there is a club/bar right next door and it’s hella loud through the night. If you want to sleep don’t stay here
The location needs to make entry to the hotel, easier for a person with a wheelchair to enter.

Beach was beautiful
Overall our stay was pleasant, our room was clean and comfortable. As others have mentioned parking is a bit difficult but the person at the front desk was very helpful. The area is pretty rowdy but it didn’t really bother us.
I had stayed here once before a little over a year ago when I moved here from Florida to Venice Beach. I lived at this hotel for about 1 week while I searched for a place for me to permanently move to. The staff then was as excellent as they are now if they aren’t even better now. Always had such a wonderful experience staying here and it is located directly on the boardwalk with views that cannot be beat in all of Venice. Rooms are spacious and modern, staff will go far past above and beyond for both customers and locals alike and I would never recommend anywhere else in this area, possibly all of LA.
The view from my window was EPIC. Venice Beach, Santa Monica in the distance, mountains in the background. I woke up to that. I’ll absolutely stay there again.
