Stopped in for one night while passing through and will stay here everytime I pass through the area. It is in a great location close to everything in Downtown Gainesville. The customer service was great, especially the bartender and front desk.

Would have stayed longer if I could
My husband and I were in town for 1 night and wanted a comfortable stay. The Hyatt Place provided that. Upon entering the room I felt comfortable. It was clean and I knew I would sleep good. This is not the hotel's fault, this is just an fyi for others. There are homeless people around the property. We opted not to spend the money for valet and parked on the street. When we left at 6am, there were people hanging out on the corner. It was dark, so we made sure to be vigilant and get right to our car. I would stay again despite that.
