Great location in piazza novella, close to the train station. The rooms were spacious, the hotel was dated but beautiful. The only complaint we have was the AC in our room and throughout the hotel. The air was stagnant and muggy. Overall, Florence was beautiful!!

Hotel was a 10 minute walk from the train station situated in the square. Clean, comfortable with a very attentive staff. Look no further. Excellent value for the money.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of town. Close enough you can walk to anything but far enough away you aren’t in the extremely crowded streets. Ask for the newly remodeled rooms with a view. Can’t go wrong!

Front desk super helpful with sightseeing recommendations!

Nice Boutique hotel located in Santa Maria Novella Plaza. Only minutes of walking distance from the train station and also downtown. The hotel is of course in an old building as probably all of them are. We loved to see all of the people gathering in the plaza at night. Good place to hang out. Staff was great, they accommodated a last minute change and gave us a rollaway bed to fit 4people with no extra charge. Breakfast is alright. Nothing to write home about. Bathroom is fine. All in working condition. Noise level is probably normal due to the fact that the windows and building itself is probably built around 100 years ago. But we still slept through the night with the occasional ambulance driving through the alleys. Ciao!

Near everything, is a 5 min walk everywhere you need to go in Florence. Plus the hotel is beautiful, rooms have great space. Love it.

Excellent location very accommodating. Staff very nice. I would stay here again.

Really liked the hotel. The people running it couldn't do enough to be helpful. But for two nights we did have young college people (very drunk and literally screaming and whooping outside- with joy, but ???) in the piazza, and there wasn't anything the hotel could do about it. We were in the front, which we loved (room was large and comfortable) but we didn't care much for the noise, which kept us awake.

STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND SPOKE ENGLISH,WE LOVED THE ROOM. BREAKFAST WAS GREAT AND PLENTY WITH DECENT SELECTION

We found the location to be superb. Room size was good and the bathroom size made us more than happy. Place was also clean. Air conditioning helped us survive the extreme heat and made a big difference. Breakfast was good too. Overall I'd rate it highly, except for this one small thing: service... as my daughter and I were entering the hotel for the first time, struggling to get through the doors with all our luggage (after walking with it a couple of blocks from the train station on extreme heat), there was a bell boy (an older man whose job was apparently to help in such situations) just standing there in a comfort of the air-conditioned entrance, watching our struggle with the door and the luggage. After asking him to help us he just responded that he did not speak English and waived his hands up in the air. I was not sure which part needed translation...
