Nice, low cost option. Friendly, helpful staff. Dunkin Donuts within walking distance for breakfast.

The building seem quite new and everything is still nice, new and clean.

We have stayed at this place several times. The rooms are clean. They have an excellent diner next door and it has nearby Casino entertainment for unwinding after spending a full day in the car traveling.

Located in Farmington, NY, about 20 minutes from Palmyra, NY. Clean, updated rooms--nothing fancy but nice enough for an overnight stay. The price was good too--much less expensive than any other hotels in the area. Lobby, at check in, had an interesting odor, but the room smelled & looked clean.

Very nice, clean, well kept up. Close to historical sites, food and laundry. Room was a bit small for 3 adults, but it worked fine .

After much struggling to find a cheap place close to the highway (anywhere between Buffalo and Albany), and after finding slightly better reviews for this place on other travel websites than on this site, we settled on booking a room for a quick overnight stop during a long road trip. We arrived late, and were greeted by a relatively helpful attendant. Our room was located off in a separate bank of rooms and was hard to find. The room was clean enough, no funny smells, and the bathroom was mercifully spotless, well-lit, and up-to-date. There was a microwave and fridge, but we didn't open them. There were quite a number of loud noises from the parking lot, including cars and semis, which was a bit unfortunate. Overall, it was fine, but definitely not worth the price. I paid $73, after a 15% promo code and my "orbucks" were applied-- definitely overpriced for what you get.

If you stay with your family, you can think a better place by paying a little more. Otherwise it is OK for a single. Don't expect 3 star value!

Not at all what they advertise. Had to go ask for Housekeeping, it wasn't done while we were gone for the day. Staff not very friendly. Certainly not worth the money. The only good thing about it was the Location to what we wanted to do.

Having friends in adjacent counties makes this motel a perfect half way point. Wish they had a coffee pot, but they are right next door to a Dunkin' Donuts & a family run restaurant.

I like rooms at the ground level and with doors for the parking lot. It's the PUS - Just Park, unload and sleep.

good location friendly staff shower need some repainting but overall good

The room and bathroom were clean/staff friendly. Nice diner next door

Recieved a smoking room when reservation was for a smoke free room. We were first told that we requested a smoking room. When confronted with a copy of the comforation for a smoke free room then there were none available. This motel must take reservations for any vacant room they have and send you a comformation that they can fill your request then give you any room they have, If your wife has serious allergies like mine find a more reputable motel.

Room was generally clean. Bathroom needs a remodel.

not a bad motel, typical, but very clean. Shower was very hot and bed was decently comfortable. will be staying here again

Picked Motel because it was in good location for our travel through. Price was same as others in area but it had a 3 star rating. Was NOT 3 star. Was a motel where it looks like people stay for weeks on end - close to homeless type housing. Our non-smoking room had a stale smoking smell. Didn't find fleas but close to a flea bag motel. Bathroom was newly rentivated but the fan was not finished and spider eggs hung from fan. Bathroom door (old wooden) would not shut - needed cutting off at bottom because of new bathroom flooring. I have to wash everything in suitcase when got home and air suit case out. Stung so. I will remember American INN and never stay at one again.

When we complained about the cigarette smoke smell, the staff could offer no alternative (it was the last "non-smoking" room) -- no rebate, no suggestion of an alternative facility, nothing. In addition, the room was very poor -- the shower controls were stiff and difficult to move and in poor repair. The room felt uncomfortable and during my return home, I began to itch, as if I'd picked up something from the hotel. How can a hotel not know that a room reeks of a smoke smell? Does the cleaning staff all smoke so they can't tell? Does the supervisory staff not check the rooms? I'm very dissatisfied and feel like I was given a $40 room when I paid more than twice that! Stay away from this facility until they get their act together. I expect any business to try to solve my reasonable problems with their service.

I was traveling by myself on business to Farmington. I was looking for a clean, value-priced room and knew it wouldn't be fancy. This was a good choice. Front desk staff very friendly. An older motel type structure. Bathroom redone. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Functioning ice machine. Basic cable TV. Prompt housekeeping. Sorry there wasn't wireless... even as an add-on for $$. But overall, this worked out very well for me. Great diner right next door. One block from Casino and horse track.

CLERK WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WITH DIRECTIONS TO LOCAL EATERIES AND EVENTS.
